I have been fairly depressed since 2013.

There have been extremely happy moments.
There have been extremely bad ones.

But that underlying unhappiness and hopelessness is still there.

Even though depression has plagued my well-being for quite some time, it did not begin to become unbearable until 2014.

I started smoking marijuana heavily and skipping class. I fell a whole year behind in College but still mananged to graduate and maintain a 3.0 GPA so all was not lost.

Anyway, I’ve been struggling with my career and home situation more than anything. Me and my father do not get along and my mother just wants peace so she goes with whatever he says.

I’m 24, still living at home.

My credit is messed up and I have student loans out the a**. My family has always been poor and I am a first generation College graduate so I did not have much influence growing up.

I’m not making excuses because there are plenty of people who made it out of a worse situation than mine.

BUT I can’t focus on or compare myself to those people. I can only feel how I feel about my personal situation.

I want to move to another state this year and I want to know if there are planetary alignments that support this along with any other prominent themes.**

I didn't see anything right off, but then I pulled up your natal chart with progressions under the extended chart selection of astro.com.

You have had progressed Mercury in Scorpio squaring your natal Saturn, which seems to be the culprit for feeling down...this has been slowly going away..

The ups seem to have been created by progressed Jupiter in Scorpio sitting comfortably between your natal Mercury and Venus also in Scorpio and you will have this for a while longer.

Your career and education problems are more likely being affected by the transit of pluto in cap to your natal Uranus and Neptune, which rule your 10th and 11th house of careers, public standing; and hopes and wishes and corporations respectively.

The transit of Pluto in Cap has already been squaring your natal Moon in Libra, which most likely has been the cause of grief with your folks, since that transit tends to bring up deep seated issues within a person's family. The natal sun conjunct natal Pluto that you have in your chart can become power struggles or you stepping up and taking control of your life. With the scorpio influence there, research is one area of work that you should be good at. Your Taurus ascendant will help you, too, as that sign is normally patience although maybe stubborn to change.

You also have a hidden aspect of natal Mars conjunct Pluto, so you can potentially go from one end of the financial spectrum to the other depending on how you handle the energy there.
