That's very interesting Star. Well, I remember the astrological predictions Gore would be President so I'm going to wait for the official pronouncment. Not trying to embarrass you StarLover but when I saw what you had to say upon your return to the US, I found myself nodding my head in agreement and thinking you've bypassed a lot of dead ends and avoided a lot of potholes in the road of life. http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum13/HTML/000326.html

Frankly, that type of Astrology has many flaws. Magi Astrology is much more higly accurate in predicting and calculating future trends for individuals and global affairs. In order to find out which candidate is going to win or lose, we need to look at Bush and Kerry's Chiron Linkages. This site will explain better: www.magiastrology.com IP: Logged |

Hi jwhop.... quote: I remember the astrological predictions Gore would be President
The predictions were probably saying that Gore would get the most votes (which he did) Love, Rainbow IP: Logged |

Perhaps that was the reason for the prediction Gore would win but we have never elected a president by total popular vote.Besides, Bush won 30 states and Gore won only 20, including DC. If you want to change the electoral process, state by state votes is as good a way as any and it keeps 3 or 4 very large and populous states from deciding elections which was the intent of the framers when they set up the electoral college. Personally, I think the way to solve that problem is to do what Nebraska (and perhaps a few others) do - enable the state to split it's electoral votes up. Right now, if for example a state has 10 electoral votes, but 60% vote Republican, all 10 votes for that state would go to the GOP - in Nebraska, they split up their electoral votes proportionate with the popular vote. I haven't thought this through in its entirety so I'm not sure what possible negative ramifications it may have I'm not aware of, but it makes sense to me...------------------ “The good things which belong to prosperity are to be wished, but the good things that belong to adversity are to be admired.” Seneca IP: Logged |

The Astrology was saying that Gore was going to be the President, and he was not, therefore the Astrology was poorly interpreted causing the Astrologer to be wrong. When it comes to this, Magi Astrology works best, but I find it hard to understand completely. I just wish Donna was around because she was the only Magi Astrologer in LindaLand. Magi clearly implies that it was not written in the stars for Gore. I just wish I could find the part where they explain the 2000 elections. IP: Logged |
