Long-lost memory
Came back again suddenly
When they met again;
After having loved each other in vainLove not, love not
The past was meant to be forgot
He and she were not to reunite
For they were born for each other but also to fight
She used to be the only one he to nurse
But she'd turned out to be his fatal curse
She was his treasure and his blood
But all were gone ferociously like a flood
Here they were again, recalling the music
The night sky reminded them of something mythic
Hidden in his hands was poisonous dirt
'This time,' thought he, 'she must be hurt'
Will this vicious circle ever end?
Will these broken hearts someone to mend?
Will there be a definite answer?
Will all this, in another time, still matter?
There is no such thing as time
Only their then passionate prime
The sun dost rise, the flowers doth grow
And a shadow dost follow
