Anyone here have this or know someone with it? How does it affect you? How do you see it affecting that person? Here's some more questions that came to mind..... ~Do you feel that because you are so sensitive that you are clingy? ~Do you look for extra assurance from loved ones? ~Feeling the need to turn to someone when you are upset? ~Dependency? ~Is it hard for you to handle situations in which you are close to emotionally? ~When it comes to your emotions does it give you that Pisces deep/spiritual part? (Given that your moon is in a air or earth sign) ~Do you feel that your emotions are misunderstood by you or others? ~Is is hard for you to talk about your emotions? ------------------ ~Believe~

i have this. 3rd house aries moon square 12th house capricorn neptune. the orb is about 4 degrees.i'm not really sure how it plays out as i have 2 other tighter squares to my moon (ascendent and jupiter) i will say that i am a creative type. i am very sensitive and clairsentient in the sense of feeling other peoples emotions. i have had issues with boundaries in relationships and i always feel like people are trying to suck me dry. i have to be careful of people using me as their emotional garbage dump. not sure what the usual interpretations of this aspect say. im not sure.. its one of many quare aspects in my chart, particularly to my moon.it gives me an emotional side that is potent but quite inhibited and kept tightly tucked away in my personality because saturn squares my moon with an equally tight orb as well as my venus and saturn sits in my 5th and conjuncts neptune. so i have a rigid and callous side to me that shows more. what i would like to ask, is nay one with this aspect - was you mother ill in your childhood? how did yyou experience neptune through your mother? my mother relapsed overa nd over with bipolar and was ill alot with her mental health, and she was lost into drugs too.. I have itI have Moon in 3'11 Pisces in 6th square Neptune in 1'48 Sagittarius in 3rd with 1'23 orb. Therefore, I have Moon-Neptune double whammy because my Moon squares its dispositor. Neptune is modern ruler of Pisces. Moon-Neptune aspects are said to be an emotional, psychic sponge. Moon in Pisces is too. With the Moon square Neptune, the emotional nature and the imagination, inspiration, idealism are in friction with each other. Biases, prejudices can interfere with the intuition, inspiration There can be too much idealism, the possibility of self deception, confusion very hypersensitive mine involves the 6th house and 3rd house......so its mainly about my issues with daily routine, organization, communications, information processing.......so it fits with my Dyslexia,Dyspraxia,ADHD.
I actually have a t-square My Moon squares the opposition of retrograde Saturn in Gemini in 9th and Neptune in Sagittarius in 3rd so challenges involving daily routine, organization, health, education, learning, belief systems
Moon oppose Saturn-Neptune midpoint with 17 minutes of arc Saturn aspects to my Moon square Neptune modifies the imagination, inspiration, idealism , so that I can be more practical, grounded, and realistic. I don't believe in things easily. I restrict myself from drugs, alcohol. I feel the conflict between being practical, grounded, realistic and being spiritual, inspirational, idealistic. I always had problems with organized religion. The configuration also reflects my problems uncertainty, confusion, insecurity, depression, anxiety which stems from my experiences of having Dyspraxia,Dyslexia,ADHD and being in special education. It also reflects my psychiatric misdiagnoses of bipolar disorder w/ schizoaffective disorder as well as being misdiagnosed as mentally retarded in early childhood. I also feel that it fits with my experiences as a multiracial person that includes confusion about what to identify as. Just being mixed has got me referred to as "confused". I have dealt with racism because of my background. I know very little about my roots. I never knew my biological father, and my mom never knew her biological mother. I'd say that configuration has to do with confusion, uncertainty about myself in connection to lack of knowledge about my family background. The aspects reflect my mother who is very similar to me. She also has history of drug, alcohol addiction, and mental illness. She is also a neurodivergent, ultrasensitive. She also has both mental and physical health problems.
I feel the t-square indicates my ability to strongly empathize with others that have problems. My compassion for those that suffer in some way. In my view, there are no such thing as whiners nor losers. Those words based on the ego.
I also read that Moon square Neptune can be strange, peculiar, eccentric, unconventional. That definitely fits me as a neurodivergent.
My Moon aspects 4 transneptunians (Varuna,Sedna,Quaoar,Ixion) to strongly emphasize the otherworldliness, ultrasensitivity that is attributed to my Moon in Pisces square Neptune. ------------------ Raymond Andrews, President,Executive Director of Developmental Neurodiversity Association Supporting the Neurodiversity Movement A Different Mind Is Not A Deficient Mind. http://www.facebook.com/#!/group.php?gid=131944976821905&ref=ts IP: Logged |

I do have that aspect in my chart and have plenty of things to say:Moon in 2nd House in Pisces Neptune in 12th House in Capricorn Like what the previous poster(s) pointed out, there is an indication of a sensitive nature. I have a very nervous temprement or feel that there is something neurologically going on with me. The Sun in Virgo in the 8th house is compounding the problem. I recently noticed that my mood is affected by the weather sometimes. I started to hate summer weather because the heat causes me to get depressed and lethargic. Speaking of depression, I have struggled with it since I was 13. I'm still going to therapy, but I am improving significantly. Strangely, the medications I tried never work. I had to control my depression with a healthy diet and exercise. The natural way is so much better. I feel that the Moon Square Neptune is affecting my college success, too. I decided to take time off of school because of my depression and that I got burned out plenty of times. A couple of users suggested transits with Mercury and Saturn that parallel with this event. One other thing in my life that is a good example of seeing this aspect is that my father was an alcoholic for most of my life (until I was 19). Knowing that the Moon has something to do with emotions and Neptune usually suggests escapism, this doesn't surprise me. I don't drink because of how much I was affected Dad's alcoholism. A positive thing with the aspect is my creativity. Still, I think my struggles with my emotional and mental states have more to do with the house placements of the planets. The second house concerns money, or material security, whereas the twelfth house concerns the subconscious, mental illness, drug problems, and hospitalization.

i relate to your saturn-neptune-moon hard aspects raymond, i have them both square my moon by 1 orb, also squaring jupiter and widely oppose venus. so my moon is part of a wide grand square or 2 tight sqaures, and 3 loose t squares.i hope your mother improves Raymond, also, my neptune is 5th house/6th cusp, and my moon is 9th house, im not sure how that is supposed to play out.
if some one offers some kind of interpretation i'll check in to see if it rings any bells here. IP: Logged |

Do any of you guys have poor eyesight?Noel Tyl wrote that moon square neptune can indicate a person that has poor eyesight I am very nearsighted (20/400) and have strong astigmatism. so I literally can't see clearly
It could also be my poor visual tracking and problems with eye contact in connection to to my Dyspraxia,Dyslexia,ADHD.

I have astigmatism, too, and I am either farsighted or nearsighted, I always forget which one. lolI do not have Moon-Neptune though. But I guess in my case the ASC-Neptune -conjunction might be the "responsible" aspect. Or maybe even Mars, as ruler of 4th house (Moon), conjunct Neptune. IP: Logged |

mother issues?i was adopted about a month after i was born. neither one of my mother's is ill to the point of not being present or functioning. my adoptive mom does have thyroid issues, she has very poor eyesight. both of my mother's were asthmatic during childhood. my biological mother's mother was bi-polar and was in and out of mental institutions. i too am very sensitive to the weather. i get seasonal affect disorder during february and march. i am extremely sensitive to the cold. it makes my nerves and muscles tense up all over my body. i loathe winter. my moon rules my 7th house and neptune rules my 2nd house. not sure how to interpret that. neptune is conjunct jupiter and my ascendant so i don't know that i can isolate its manifestations. my moon rules my 12th house and my 9th cusp (house my moon is in) is in pisces.i wonder if that flavors my moon quite neptunian/12th/pisceans neptune rules my 9th. interesting.. my moon squares its house ruler. and neptune squaring my 12th house ruler. now that is confusing! aha, only virgo in my chart would be able to see through all that and spot these things without being confused! :P IP: Logged |

very interestingMy eyes are very sensitive to light to the point that I don't like bright, flourescent lights (classrooms and other places need to get rid of them!)and sunlight bothers me easily. At home, I don't like to use lights much. I tend to have my apartment dark. I have blinds that cover one of my windows. I used to have both blinds that covered my windows. However, that could just be my ultrasensitive body/nervous system which effects my sight, hearing, touch, taste, smell. People in the special education field would called it "sensory integration disorder", "sensory processing disorder" I take fish oil that helps decrease my hypersensitivity. It has omega 3 fatty acids. Neptune is said to rule fish oil. I read that Moon is also said to be associated with Vitamin F which is Essential Fatty acids.

Glaucus, I am the same. Those bright, flirring lights in the classroom are more than just annoying, sometimes they bordering the painful, especially since they are quietly buzzing, too. I really hate that. I am really sensitive to sunlight, too. And I also have these "floaters". Didn`t get better when I started sitting in front of the computer so often. lol IP: Logged |

DD,I think she got them mixed up My Moon,Saturn,Neptune t-square played out big time with females that I was attracted to especially a gal that I first met in special education. She was the first female that I had a major crush on. I was in 2nd grade when I met her,and she was in 1st grade. She was a special education student like I was. I lost touch with her, and I met her again at church. I lost touch with her again, and I met her again. She drank a lot,was promiscuous, and she got kicked out of the house. I lent her money which I never got back. She took advantage of me.
I have gotten involved with women that used drugs too. The first female that I had a date with happened to have Sun in Pisces. She was the daughter of a winery owner. I was involved with a woman who worked with special education needs children, and later on she told me that she's Dyslexic and ADHD. She has Moon in Pisces like me which I suspected before looking at her chart. She has Neptune in 1st conjunct Ascendant. She can be very naive too. She's also into metaphysical, new age stuff too. I prefer women that are spiritual, metaphysically oriented but also grounded, practical. I definitely don't want to get involved with a woman that does drugs and alcohol. I also feel that I would be much better off with a neurodivergent woman.

Because the Moon shows the relationship we have with our mother and I thought the Animus was reflected with that...Anyway an afflicted Moon means the mothering aspect of our lives and personality isn't balanced. We either need to much mothering or give too much mothering and vice versa. I'm reading a very interesting book about this actually by Thomas Moore. It shows how the mythology of the father and mother interact with eachother... It's very complelling as well because he sas that the FATHER is what we all need to be in charge of our lives and the MOTHER is there for intense emotional experiences. He even went so far as to explain this with the prayer, " Our FATHER who art in Heaven " This is the fathering aspect of our personalities coming into play because a Father is a heroic figure... The book is called " Care of the Soul". He's a psychologist. IP: Logged |

Ami,I have Moon conjunct Neptune is Capricorn and I really do not like my mother. She wasn't even a mother in my opinion. This is also in opposition to my Sun. I'd say my experience with her as a child made my emotional world very hard indeed. I guess what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. I can forgive but I'm not entirely sure I have done that yet. But I will never forget. IP: Logged |
