I'm not obsessed with 'knowing', or details, as much as I did when I was younger in my teens.

These days, I just want to learn to feel the experience of things, to live outside my head, to be in the present moment, and to accept that there are some details I just will never figure out, never know precisely (a very infamous Virgo South Node word). Also, I've learned to just enjoy things.

That's how I'm learning to live my North Node in Pisces.

What about you? How do you live your North Node sign/house?

I'm not sure how powerful the north/south nodes are in the chart, as they are energy points left from the moon crossing the sun energy path. The pre-natal conjunction of the sun and moon would be much more powerful IMO as they are the only time the 2 physical objects- the sun (which engrains the ecliptic into existence) and the moon (which has its own energy path which creates the draconic chart-although probably much weaker than the regular zodiac). When those 2 bodies cross, the energy point they leave behind would be much more powerful. It's on astro.com extended selection to find yours. Mine's conjunct my ascendent by 1 degree. Don't think it's that important though but probably has some kind of importance.

Anyway. All that aside, my N. Nord is conjunct saturn by 2 degrees and mercury conjunction as well (all within 3 degrees).

I think that makes saturn my calling, understanding things from their make up, deciphering the parts and putting them back to gethers. understanding things inside out

My manifestations though are more along the fire-realm when i say decipher things. If i took thing apart to understand them- i'd have to be more earth. My dad is like that understanding electronics and gadgets. I have no desire. As fire is a element of creation (along with air) they don't recieve, but create. I do it for personal power and understanding (fire)

Thanks. And sounds like you are meant to experience "what is" as if it was one of three options in a video game you can experience.

Like its something thats incredibly important

What would the 3 options be?

To experience what is.
To understand what is.
Wahts the other one????

@soren,

to merge with what is?

Is the third, to create?

@Sulky

(@merge) Sounds like a water thing. Now i got it- the 4 elements are the representatives of the 4 ultimate life options.

: o, not 3, but 4!

Edit: but create could be it... hm.. but for these to work, they have to be mutually exclusive. one wont work in the other. like an understander cant create. because they only take in information from what already is real. an experiencer cant create. because they feel and expereince what is. i think these first 2 must be negative signs.

if we are going with the new 4 thing theory. if not, then maybe create is the 3rd of the 3 ultimate paths to go down in existence

Sounds like you're in a philosophical mood today!

Earth- Experience
Fire- Create
Air- Know
Water- Understand

whats the difference between "know" and "understand"??? (getting deep lol not really but kind of, i just dont really know, i could think about it but would rather have you feed me pls)

Nvm right after i clicked submit. I had an epiphany of the difference. !!! i cant describe what i saw

In a sense- water is the creator as they experience new things constantly. existence is being created upon themselves. Air- is not constantly being bombarded. air looks at all taht is (in a plain-this is it-type thing) and puts information together.

In a sense know means nothing is changing.

Understand means new things are constantly happening.

@soren,

Just my personal opinion. Shouldn't take it as fact.

To me, to know is to know it like to learn it from a book. You know that earth has trees and grass on it.

To understand. Is to know how it feels to be around trees and grass. You don't know how it feels to stand on cool grass until you have your feet on the grass.

Sounds like something that is created from experience. Though experience would be the phsyical act of standing on the grass. The feelings that you get are the "understanding"

The Nodes are definitely very powerful. The North Node is your full potential and also what you truly crave and want, more than anything, deep down. I don't think you learn to be your North Node. I feel like you already are your NN sign and house (even though you spend part of your life doubting you have it in you). You just have to learn to embrace it and strengthen it and make it a top priority. Then, so much in your life just starts working out in an amazing way.

I have the North Node in Aquarius in the 1st. I am definitely living out this energy. I am an astrologer now and it is a job that totally depends on my own initiative. I spend a lot of time on my own with my intellectual, metaphysical studies. I like that I am into pursuits that can help people realize their full potential (very Aquarian) but I still want to live a healthily selfish life (1st House). I really prefer to live on my own unorthodox schedule. I just want a lot of space and freedom, which is why I am not too into the idea of a relationship at this point. I need to be able to maintain my independence if it happens. No codependency allowed (or unneeded drama).

I feel like I know how to appreciate everyone from a distance. I really love being a very friendly social butterfly. I see now how to care about everyone as a whole without fixating too much or being too exclusive with many people. Friendly to all, close to very few. A very outgoing loner. I also don't like planning things too much with others. I like keeping things unpredictable and just surprising people. I have gotten into my local bar scene a lot lately. But I just always show up alone and just bounce from person to person, making new friends or running into old ones. At certain times I am cool with just observing too on the sidelines.

I am very okay with that making me look weird to some. I just want to be free to be myself and not listen to anyone's opinion of myself, even my own. We are all equal, so who cares about judgments? Even the good stuff people say I don't care too much about anymore. My Leo self is amazed at how unaffected I can be by compliments now! I just want to be a chill person and do my own thing. And I do enjoy acting on my quirks and my randomness, no matter the response.

I relate so much to an Aquarius Rising now because of my NN journey. In fact, I always have to some extent but also possibly because my chart ruler is conjunct Uranus. But the more I grow into my NN, the more I feel like an Aquarius Rising and the less the Capricorn Rising fits.

My north node and my jupiter are both in Aries. I definitely feel this south node pull to be appeasing and agreeable at the expense of my own wants or needs. There is a south node regression where I can feel how comfortable in a sticky, unevolving way it would be to do things according to wanting to be liked. But it works out that I gain the most luck when I'm independent, assertive, and chase after what I want and make myself by leading the way.

Yes!!! I think this is so insightful and true. My North Node is in Sagittarius in the 12th house and when I've lived that way--in ways that are Jupiterean or Piscean or 12th house or 9th house--things have just started working out in amazing ways. I also have a 2nd house Pisces Jupiter as the "spout" of my pitcher chart and I'm a draconic Sag, so there are other things in my chart making that energy lucky for me.

The universe really supports me when I travel and adventure, explore spirituality and deep philosophy, merge with the world beyond myself and practice love and compassion.

I was living very much according to my NN and then life dealt me a nasty series of curveballs and I've retreated into my scared little ego. But I think I'm most myself when being in my NN and being as expansive as possible.

@SulkyArcher,

Yes it is! I feel best when I can just be very independent and free. Not bogged down by anyone. I feel like, at this point, I only want a romantic relationship with a guy who is just as free spirited and his own person or who starts off as my friend first. Passion is okay in doses. But I am not making it my top priority in romance as it always ends up being superficial (often because of casual sex being involved), fleeting, dramatic, or something that distorts the truth about him.

I also feel like I need someone who is genuinely confident and doesn't require nonstop validation. Someone who is strong and complete enough in themselves, as I strive to be. My SN seems to get me involved with and attracted to guys who have that "star quality" but actually need a lot of ego stroking and reassurance, which does nothing but drain me. So, major and frequent displays of that kind of behavior are signs for me to exit stage left.

Also the great thing about that lesson about relationship partners is that it serves as a mirror and reminds me to not be needy of others' attention and praise either, as I have been guilty of in the past.
