and she has a squared off chin like myself, a leo trait, vs. aqua which is more long and pronounced...

but she has a lot of nerves, could that just be the virgo sun? she gets more nervous than any leo influenced (sun moon asc) person ive known.

her height actually stands out in her family, everyone else is average height or above (at least 5'7").

nothing in gemini, and no mercury conjunctions. for air she has pluto in libra, which would be a singleton since that's the only one. it's true she has that great mercury clarity to her eyes. i envy them, wish i had it! i know what you mean about short though, the two shortest, and i mean short, everyone else is avg or above, my brother who is adult height 5'5", and our grandmother who is adult height 4'11", and hasn't shrunk yet, both gemini rising and so chatty and active. they stay -very- young. my friend only talks your ears off when she's nervous though, not really as a way to interact, maybe when she talks about sports.

i think the moon is in very early degree aries, so not late in the day, to bring her moon sun neptune t-square into orb, which really points to her dynamics with her father/early childhood which stands out.. so these would be the possibles based off that:

-leo, if so it's not textbook, the mars conj makes sense, she has mars conj venus in leo, which would make sense for seeing venusian, and really she seems all about the moon in aries, but the mars conj asc points to her strong tie to her masculine side, she doesnt really do the makeup thing, the picture was after a makeover and since she's wanted to keep it up to do something for herself since she didn't really ever pay attention to her looks. but the girl has confidence, *especially* when approaching men, there is no reserve there.

-virgo, at first glance she is not attention look at me, but not bookish, she's very energetic/enthusiastic and practical, very earth/fire, i dont see the possibility of air.. for some reason i see air types as more.. having to have things just so in their personal environment/what they wear, etc, there's a certain fussiness to them, not a bad thing, but really she's not like that. she's very laid back, which is like earth. if merc were conj the asc it would point more to those skittish traits.

-libra, not really seeing it at all, her personality, how she comes off, the airyness..but venus could be angular in leo

We had a member who did an amazing amount of research on rising signs and appearance. I tried googling, but could only find the Aries rising. Maybe someone else has a link to the rest?

Only because of they eyes! To me, they look very earthy.

I'm Taurus Sun / Taurus Venus .. BUT I have Aquarius ASC and Libra Moon ... my eyes are not very earthy at all , I sent a photo to my friend only last week and he said that my eyes looked like opals! lol .. it was probably the light .. but definitely not earthy at all.

To me, her serene expression and simple attire point to an air sign. Not cold, haughty aquarius or chatty gemini, but libra je ne sais quois.
