I have Saturn conjunct the ASC.IQ said that the Scorpio energy would be hard for me to access.
The Scorpio energy is passion,Darlink

Yes,I have a hard time with ANY strong emotions.
My recent outburst ,on here, was my passion/love/care for someone making me lose my reason.
There were deeper factors,too.
However,my passions have been hidden from me.
I could not have any passion flowing,as a child.
*I* had to make sure I was as buttoned up as possible.
I have a Gem Sun,Venus and Merc so I am very rational.
My Scorpio ASC has been shoved in the attic like a mentally ill relative.

I had a talk with my father a few weeks ,ago.I did something I never did.
I showed passion i.e enthusiasm. I did it on purpose.
I knew I was violating a rule.The rule was to have NO emotion higher than a certain decibel or you will be punished with banishment.
Sure enough,he has not talked to me,since lol

I have been a Scorpio ASC who was a marshmallow type.
That is a very sick Scorpio ASC lol
It has taken me this long on LL to embrace that I AM a Scorpio ASC with ALL that entails.
To me,the Scorpio ASC is a bit of a scary Pandora's box.
However, I am ready to open it.
Scorpio demands things of you.
You can soar or you can crawl.
You can ignore it at your own peril,also.

I am from are part of the US where
manners and refinement are keys.
I am all for that if one does not have to jettison out one's primal nature,in the process.
Maybe,it was just my family and not the greater culture.
However,I did just that.

I talked to my Aunt ,last night.I don't know her time of birth but she looks like the quintessential Libra ASC.
(There I spelled it right,Chris )

Her life has been a rah rah girl life,as far as life can .
She is emotionally balanced ,beautiful,smart,sweet,humble

She cannot understand the emotional depths *I* have been forced to go.
She gets my jokes so maybe she understands the human condition of it .
However,she never got to the level where you MUST transform or you will die.
That is the classic Scorpio dilemma.

One thing I have that she has no desire for is spirituality.
I HAD to get it.
I will be,totally,honest.
I found spirituality cuz I would have died if I did not.
I asked her what her biggest regret was. She said that she did not study French.

Mine would fill an ocean.Only a spiritual life allows you to continue to live with those regrets.

I am more fortunate than she ,although,you would not know it on the face of it.

But,what i gather from ur words,I think saturn has more than it's fair share. How interesting is the connection between saturn and scorpio.

I think the Gem Sun,Mercury and Venus make me appear more air-like in real life.
I have embraced the air as more acceptable than the Scorpio,too.

Interesting take on Scorpio Asc... Descriptive though.

I have a Scorpio Asc, and I couldn't imagine living bottled up. My Saturn is also in Scorpio, but it's up on my 12th house cusp.

Scorpio can't/shouldn't be bottled up because it can be explosive and/or poisoning to you.

So... Do all of your relatives have lots of air and/or earth? My mom's extended family has a lot of air/earth and they are how you describe your aunt. It is very hard for my family to talk to them (we all have fire and at least some water).

Anyway, the only advice I have to give you for being able to more easily access your Scorpio rising is to let go and walk into it without fear. There's a certain sense of 'to hell with everyone else, this is what I NEED to do.' Scorpio is about attaining a higher level of experience and understanding. Someone has to ask the questions otherwise no one will advance higher (not even Aquarius).

Go watch Black Swan. I just saw it last night, and I think that it is the quintessential Scorpio movie. Death of innocence and perfection (Libra), releasing to experience and passion (Scorpio).

Very interesting post...my bf also has Scorp rising, as well as Scorp in Venus and Neptune...my Mercury, Venus, and Neptune are all Scorp...we have the entire Corleone family in us! lol We are both Libra suns to boot, so there is the balance?

even though I am deluded with Neptune in a first house (for which I am greatful), otherwise it would be combustable, lol

People tell me all the time, I am intense, which is a surprize, because I think I am easy going, and try to avoid drama (read intensity) all my life. But I am passionate about some things in my life.
and... I am not sure if I look like Scorp asc.

well... I think I have Luca Brasi living inside of me... sometimes

I also have a Scorpio ASC, with Pluto in Scorpio. I also have BML,DML,Juno,Ixion and Quaoar there, the last three less than 4 deg from the ASC.

I can completely understand being numb.
I also was never allowed to show any passion around my father. All the things that I held dear, I had to hide. The thing is my ASC is the same degree as my Dad's NN (in his 12th).
He was supposed to learn something from the way I expressed myself but he was too blinded by his Neptune.

I am intense, but as much I want friends, if people can't handle my rising I can probably do better. I dress like Scorpio ASC,but I look like my Pisces Sun/Cap Venus.

I think that's a scorpio thing in general..not wanting to show emotion for fear that others will know what ur thinking. They try to unciver other ppls moties but always keep their own as hidden as possible. Scorpio ascendanta often have kind of a scared look in their eyes i noticed...like a blank scared look.

I have pluto in the first...so i can relate. A lot. Im all about transformation and improving myself...rebirth. By the way i have a libra ascendant.

My biggest regret? Probably also just something silly like not reading more. But it's because i think everything else that happened in my life wasnt my fault...i did the best i could, and that's that. No regrets

I thought I had to be a lady.I do but a lady does not mean devoid of passion or more importantly,wisdom.
It does not mean one has to be stupid,too innocent to function in the world .
It just means one can KNOW what is real but chose to rise above it when one can.
Scorpio needs to be respected but it will EARN respect.
It does not mind a hard climb.
At the end you have something of value.
