I left my new 135 dollar text book in class, I honestly do not remember taking it out...... I think we're to caught up in our thoughts. I've lost two phones this year... I think aquarians in are not as bad, it is co-ruled by saturn after all. my aquarius friend has some gemini placements, she's even worse then me IP: Logged

Well I'm a Libra Sun, Aqua Rising and I've got a really good memory so I don't ever lose things. Usually though if I can't find something I get flustered because of the impulsiveness of my Moon in Aries however the minute I focus on my thoughts I find it. It might be a Gemini thing, my sister has Gemini energy and she loses everything. She even placed our electronic tea kettle in the fridge one time when we use to live together and spent hours trying to find it before I noticed it randomly in the fridge. Lmao. With so much mental activity you can get lost in reality a bit. Which is definitely my sister. I'm obsessive so I don't lose things. If I had that type of personality I'd probably need to be moved into an insane asylum because I'd go obsessively nuts trying to find things. Since, I never lose things I actually enjoy researching and searching for things. That's my two cents... IP: Logged

My mom is a gemini sun w/ gemini rising but has a scorpio moon, she has excellent memory. IP: Logged

Nowadays I don't seem to loose as many things, but i misplace important things all the time, like keys, birth-control, agenda, etc. etc. I've lost about 5 or 6 phones in my life, and more mittens that i can count, lots of rings and lots of sweaters. i even left my whole purse at the bar once (i was realllly drunk) - totally got it back too. The worst is with very short term things. Such as putting down a pen on a table, and 10 seconds later forgetting what I did with it. I never lose my stuff though as I make a conscious effort to keep track of it so I don't lose it. I have learned I have the tendancy to be spacy and forget/lose things. Our room is a war zone mostly because of his mess, he can never find his stuff. He's messy but hygienic, if that makes sense. He's lost his bankcard five times in the ATM machine. He's never had a bike for more then 3 months because he forgets to lock it. He buys train tickets and leaves the counter without the tickets, almost getting a fine again in the train. He buys me drinks and then walks towards me with a big smiley face because he wants to say something but then forgets to take the drinks with him. Lost so many things, so many assignments left at home, forgot about test dates, etc. As I got older, esp. in college, I really took time to get myself organized. Now it's become a way of life. I get accused of being really OCD about schedules, agendas, planning, cleaning, etc... I realized that my natural inclination was disorganized so I have worked hard to compensate. (Mercury in Capricorn prob ties in a bit here...) I have a wicked good memory for situations/birthday/etc - maybe it's visual? No idea where that comes from. I can remember outfits, meals down to the exact date, my friends constantly call me to find out "what was that place we ate at in Vegas with the good guacamole?" and I'll tell them "it was the restaurant in Ceasar's near the right of the entrance, you were wearing a black dress and silver sandals..." Lol, yes I do but I'm still heavy Air With 4 Air placements 3 personal planets and my Ascendant (I'm 40 % Air). I do have a strong 8th House, pretty potent energy, therefore it counters I guess Airy forgetfulness or carelessness. Who knows. Most of my Air friends are pretty perceptive and aware of things, they don't lose much. My Dad's an Aquarius and his mind is like a steel trap, he knows everything. The only example I can bring up in relation to a careless Air sign is my sister, who is dominant air also and a Libra Sun. She loses and forgets everything including dates and names. I used to hate on the air signs because they were SOOOO forgetful and would lose everything and they couldn't hold their attention for more than five minutes... But now I can't. Ever since my progressed sun went into Libra, I seriously have memory issues and attention issues myself! I luckily have managed not to lose anything important, but probably only barely. It sucks too, because someone will remind me of a conversation that we had, and I can't remember it for the life of me! I think this is due to the fact that I'm more 'in my head' now, so I'm not always paying as much attention to what's going on around me. The 'attention to details' Virgo sun in me is bothered by this... I used to be so sharp! But at least I'm a bit more forgiving with the air signs now. IP: Logged
