- Hard aspects to Nodes - Too much fixed energy which makes it harder for them to accept change - Saturn forming hard aspect with Pluto IP: Logged |

Strong Sag, maybe Mercury in Sag? While Gemini is a more receptive sign when it comes to information, Sag feels to me as an opposite, of one not receiving information from the outside but rather taking conclusion from what is known inside. Maybe 9th house can also show this?IP: Logged |

PlutoFish, no need to laugh English is not my 1st language. I thought Ami Anne means when people make the same mistake over and over again. I have a strong Jupiter in my chart with Sag Moon, Jupiter, Uranus and Neptune. And I keep making the same mistakes over and over again. I'm very positive, and tend to just tell myself "this time it won't be like that". So my comment was based on my experience, but apparently, it was irrelevant. Lost in translation.IP: Logged |

My sister is a serious example for this. She has stellium in the first house: saturn, neptune and uranus.Neptune makes her become delusional, and saturn forces her to learn a lot of hard lessons while uranus makes her erratic IP: Logged |

Ami, I'm a mixture of 5 nationalities from Europe and central Asia, and speak 2 more languages + learning 4th one Spanish is not one of them. Yay, ok then in my opinion it's Sag/Jupiter. I do act like a dare-devil sometimes. I'm willing to take a risk, overly optimistic, and can be naive. There are tons of situations where I was burnt over and over again. For example, leaving very important assignments for the last minute... Once, when I had to submit work, I left it for the critical time, and my computer crashed, and I lost most of my work! So what happened? Did I learn from this experience????? No, I still do everything the last minute. Back in the day I took drugs occasionally. Most of the time I have a bad reaction. I mean really bad. Did I learn anything? No!!! Because each time I try, I hope it's gonna be different. Too optimistic! I don't even enjoy the experience and many many more examples.

Jupiter's purest essence is evolution from interaction between the self and the world. There would be a start.Otherwise, I think it could be an issue of Sun and I guess the nodes. It could be Pluto too, as Pluto will go down in flames before admitting wrong. IP: Logged |

Someone said Fixed signs. Being a fixed Sun, I'll go with that. LOL!!! I can give up on things but it's REALLY hard to. Something I'm trying to solve, fix, a relationship. I've been working on something before and in classic temper tantrum will exclaim, "That's it! I'm done with this effing thing." 5 minutes later I can't stand it and I'm right back at it trying again. LOL That's not so much a mistake, but you get the general mentality. Badly aspected Neptune maybe? (Pluto / Uranus as SE kind of brought up in another thread) My Neptune has been causing me to make the same mistake for many many years. LMAO IP: Logged |

About Jupiter's essence? Well, think about the planets as an outward journey with the Sun as the starting point! Mars comes before Jupiter right? Well, the essence of Mars is your cause for presently existing. Mars shows what you want to do, what you want people to think of you - it represents the type of recognition you want. It shows how you go about this, saying "This is me!" Jupiter is the next step after Mars. Mars makes you go into the world and say "this is me" and the world reacts. The world could say "yes, this is you!" or the world could say "hey we don't like this" and then your Mars could either go into battle mode or retreat. Jupiter comes next because after you start mixing with the world, you start to learn. You learn that if you keep doing something bad, bad things can happen to you. You learn how to navigate in life because of Jupiter. Mars makes you do something but Jupiter gives you a conscious. If we didn't have Jupiter, we would just be people who never change, never learn, always acting the same, fighting the same. Does this help? IP: Logged |

Thanks, nymi...I considered posting a thread like that once or twice. The essence of the planets and how they journey outwards. Each planet is contained in the orbit of the next and as such they build off one another. My favourite part is how after Saturn, planets start existing in different dimensions and become more like intangible concepts and fundamental laws. I just don't know if anyone would read it or even which forum to put it in... IP: Logged |

I often have the opposite problem. I *do* learn from experience, but I only remember the negative parts, and I completely avoid repeating the experience for a long time. For example: Rejections and failures while dating and trying to build relationships cause me to despair about dating or relationships in the future.12th house cusp in Capricorn. In the past few months, I feel like I've made some progress in dealing with those experiences and feelings, so rejection or failure doesn't feel like a crushing defeat. It's still disappointing and it often hurts, but I can get over it. And since SE mentioned it -- I have Jupiter in Sagittarius. ------------------ Everyone is unique. The chart is a template. Experiences matter too. Sun signs don't tell the whole story. Every sign has good and bad traits. Evolved, mature people will show more of the good traits of their signs. My natal chart IP: Logged |

I think a mercury in fixed signs, weak saturn, saturn in 12th house, because I think Saturn teaches us from experience, and a lot of sag (too much optimism).IP: Logged |
