One book. What genre would it be? What's the sign of your 3rd house and what's there? Where's your Mercury and how is it aspected?I would write a science fiction book. Scorpio 3rd house with Pluto. Sagittarius Mercury in the 4th sextile Moon. ------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

Cool topic. I'd write a science fiction novel like you. Or I'd write something like The Count of Monte Cristo or John Grisham's novels. Something that deals with corruption or problems that people neglect, the deep and dark. 3rd house in Leo with NN in there. I have Scorpio Mercury conjunct Pluto. Sextile Uranus/Neptune. IP: Logged |

I`d maybe get around and my lazy butt up and finally write down Fay`s story (I know I have the notes somewhere, but neve really wrote it).Or I would finally wrap up sequel 2 (Dreamshadow) and 3 (title not totally clear yet, it once was Mirrorworld but there are too many existing with the title yet) to the beginning (Prophecy). But knowing myself it will stay... unfinished. But genrewise? Fantasy, mystery, romance, gothic - that would be my genre I think.
Aquarius on 3rd house cusp, Pisces intercepted. Jupiter in Pisces in 3rd house in mutual reception and square with Neptune on ASC.
main ruler Aquarius in scorpio on 11th house cusp. true LIlith in the beginning of 3rd house (hence all the vampires that were present in my earlier stories). Oh Mercury is conjunct Sun on 25-26 Sag.
Tightest midpoint picture is Moon=Mercury/Pluto IP: Logged |

book of poetry, a small scifi book, and maybe a book on feminism applied to spirituality. Either three I'm a Libra Sun; Mercury & Mars in Libra too. Moon, Neptune, Uranus, North Node in Capricorn Venus & Jupiter in Virgo Saturn and 11th house in Aquarius Pluto and 7th in Scorpio My 2nd & 3rd are both in Gemini My 8th and 9th are both in Sagittarius.
I think Scorpio especially like your placement I'm so cappy is big on scifi lit. I hear Virgo emphasis are inclined to scifi too. IP: Logged |

Recently I had a novel idea about a world where the seven deadly sins are portrayed publicly when you commit one, for example if you were to murder or assault someone, that blood would be stained on your hands.Saturn in the 3rd house in Pisces. Mercury in the 9th house in Virgo I have Merc opp Saturn, Merc conj MC, Merc square AS, Merc trine both Neptune and Uranus, and Moon sextile Merc IP: Logged |

I would write an educational book about the Universe. It would be about what I think of the Universe and all the theories I came up with about knowledge that is unknown to the human race. How it can fit in and make sense of it all - scientifically along with theoretically. I would also like to write very creative rhyming poetry. Libra 3rd House Cusp - with Mercury in the 3rd House in Libra, sextile the Ascendant, square Uranus and Neptune, quincunx Saturn, and trine the Descendant exactly. IP: Logged |

Realistic fiction exploring complex psyches with plenty of satire and irony. Man versus Man 1st person narrative. A vain attempt to figure out humans. Lots of confused, lost characters. Protecting the downtrodden. 3rd house Sagittarius Mars. Mercury conjunct Libra ascendant/Jupiter/Uranus from twelfth quintile Mars sextile Venus.

I wrote a short story about my own real life experience. it was published to my surprise. Didn't bring profit, wasn't popular genre or whatever so the fact they published it was quite unexpected. I don't plan to write anything else in the future but if I do, it will be my own real life experience again. I like reading fantasy, but totally horrible at writing one myself. Husband said I'm imaginative, well I think I'm just imaginative to him lolI have Leo sun/mercury 10th house square my Scorp rising ------------------ old ID astrofan123 Leo sun Scorpio rising IP: Logged |

I'd write a book on the astrology of attraction (shocking!).Or I'd write a science fiction/fantasy type novel with a clever plot, and some romance as well. Speaking of love stories, there was a thread about what kind you prefer a while back. Here's my post because I think it applies to this thread as well. Basically I'd write the kind of thing that I'd also like to read or watch myself. quote: Originally posted by Lotis White: I can't think of any specific examples right now, but I like love stories where there's lots of yearning (and a slow build up) till something dramatic, and perhaps drastic happens, and brings the story finally to a climax. And I like happy endings. Even if there's a bunch of torment before that eventually happens. I also like it if the two leads are very different people, that you wouldn't expect to end up together, but somehow the actually compliment each other, and balance each other out. Maybe one of them is really hardcore and intense, while the other one is cheerful and 'light', or maybe one is reserved and cautious, while the other one is outgoing and carefree. I like to see that each of them has their own distinctive personality, but that for some reason they just 'click', and they have amazing chemistry. Like magic, they create something better together then either could have alone. They compliment each other with their differences. In my chart I have a major opposition across my 1st house/7th house. Jupiter in the 7th is opposite Venus in the 1st, and they are both semi-squared/sesquiquadrated by Uranus (Zing!). Maybe that's why I have a thing for oddly matched couples. Uranus especially tends to do this. Interestingly, I have Aries on the 5th house cusp and Venus in the 1st house. 1st house/Aries relates to ‘personality’ and so maybe that’s why I like characters who are distinctive, and know who they are (whatever type of personality they may have). As well, I have a Gemini Dsc which loves good communication. So I also like it when even though the leads temperaments/style may be different, they have excellent intellectual compatibility, and can really talk, and understand each other. They ’get’ each other. In fiction I enjoy epic sci fi and fantasy adventure type storylines (I have definate 'nerd' potential in that regard). Modern and histoical dramas, certain types of romantic comedies (especially the quirky ones), and psychological thrillers can be good too. The things that really count with me are…. That the storyline is intriguing and clever, the characters are distinctive fascinating people, the dialogue good, the setting is beautiful, and the leads are attractive (shallow I know, but this is fiction we’re talking about here). Forbidden love type scenario’s can be enjoyable, but I dislike ones that glorify affairs and cheating like it’s something ’romantic’ (especially if one of the leads is married). Love triangles are alright so long as there is a long build up and then a choice is made. If the centre of a love triangle keeps swapping partners it starts to feel really icky to me. I actually like it better if both partner’s are single at the beginning of the story (or maybe just out of a breakup), and then they meet. If a love story is crafted well It’s possible to keep excitement and suspense in the plot without resorting to a series of partner swaps in order to keep things interesting. I really admire when the creator of a storyline is able to do this. I like when the love story is really only part of a larger scale storyline that is fascinating in it’s own right. There’s got to be more going on then just romantic intrigues in a story (unless it’s a really short one, or a ‘slice of life’ type story). Yes, give me exciting twists and turns, suspense, some humor, an undertone of yearning/longing, interesting social dynamics surrounding the story, and a final climax/crisis which ultimately gives a satisfying result (happy ending). This might be politically incorrect, but I like it when the female lead is feminine and wholesome, while the guy is strong and assertive. I also like it when the relationship that the story centers on actually has significance and meaning to the lead character/s. As in, there's not an ‘easy come, easy go’ type attitude to the connection. At least, the character whose point of view we are seeing should be really emotionally invested. The more invested the leads are, the higher the stakes of the plot, and the more stratifying the end is. Luke-warm is boring. It's better if it's all or nothing, intense. Another thing I like is something I think of as a ‘Vertex story’…. Two people meet, they instantly recognize each other without words, and suddenly develop a connection. Actually getting together could happen soon after, or ages after their fateful encounter through a series of plot twists (depends on the type of fiction it is). But it is a defining moment for them upon meeting (at least for one of them, the other might be oblivious at first), and in their private hearts they know who they really want to be with all along. My Vertex Axis is on the Taurus/Scorpio opposition with Uranus conjunct my Antivertex, opposite my Vertex. Ya know, I only meant to write a few sentences and somehow this spiraled. Sagittarius Rising Capricorn Sun, 1st house Cancer Moon, 8th house Sagittarius Venus, 1st house Mars in Leo, 9th house Jupiter in Cancer, 7th house Saturn in Virgo, 9th house Uranus in Scorpio, 11th house Neptune in Sagittarius, 12th house Pluto in Libra, 11th house

I'm a transmedia writer; novelist, screenplays and TV. Genres have ranged from SF (slipstream, military and space opera, urban fantasy) to crime drama (usually with SF elements). I seem to've found my home as one of the few femmes of transgressive fiction. (Sex, government conspiracy, spiritual awakenings, deep catharsis, and supernatural / quantum features). 12 novels: in 2 series (thus far); an SF trilogy from 1995-1998; transgressive / crime drama / slipstream SF from 2000-2010. 3 indie one-shots. 8 short-stories. (1995-2004) 2 theatrical 3-act plays. (1994-1996) 3 audiodrama series. (1997-2000; 2003-2004, 2007-2008; 2010-2012) 3 TV one-hour dramas in development; 1 dramedy, 1 web series. 2 feature-length screenplays. (2000; 2005) And I'm probably missing something. Oh. Several nonfiction titles. 3C @ 9° SCO. LEWISCARROLL-DESTINN, HIDALGO-EROS-BACCHUS, IXION-QUAOAR-MERCURY, LILITH 1181-MELPOMENE, URANUS-SHERLOCK-MOON, MARS there. In that order. All Scorpio - save for MARS (0° SAG). The cusp (9°) is also parallel my MOON, KLIO, SIRENE, ELEKTRA, AMOR, and SNODE. LUST is there, too, 6° SAG, near my IC, but technically 3H. Yeah. It's a drunken house party in my Third. 😉 Packed house. Standing room only. Interestingly, MERC is my MC-R. My 9R is 12H VENUS, but she sextiles my 3H MERC. I tend to work behind the scenes and then make a big public splash. But, yeah. Keywords are Scorpio, and the skyrocks hanging out with MERC. It's obvious from that bunch my bag would be transgressive. Heh. All that Scorp disposits to my 2H PLUTO-SUN. Writing = life. It's the thing I developed in some very hard times (CHIRON opposite) to give myself something no one could take from me. I may have my work stolen, but my ability to create - that's mine, and it's the basis of my identity in many ways. MERC is also my chartruler. (VIR ASC). So. There ya go. IP: Logged |
