I always find real life experiences a lot more fascinating than reading sites and books.I was wondering, through your own personal experience, which zodiac couplings do you see the most (Top 5)? And do you think that they make a good match? (Conventional astrological wisdom aside).
For instance, I’ve seen the following couples a lot; 1. Aquarius and Pisces
2. Scorpio and Gemini
3. Taurus and Sagittarius
4. Leo and Capricorn
5. Libra and Virgo. Personally I think, despite astrological wisdom, Libra and Virgo seem to do well together. Add to that, Leo and Capricorn seem to gravitate to each other w lot more often than would be admitted. Your couples?

**MY EXPERIENCES ONLY**Aries woman and Cancer man is the most common. Virgo and Libra is a bit common but there's always a violent fallout somehow... Gemini men LOVE Scorpio women and Capricorn women Most Capricorn men are with a fire sign woman Scorpio woman and masculine sun sign man (Either Aries or Sag, or Aqua or Gemini) Libra and Pisces or Cancer Sagittarius and Pisces IP: Logged |

I can't think of 5 but top 3 that I see are:
1. Virgo/Libra - they seem to gravitate to each other
2. Cancer/Libra - both very nurturing and lately

ahahaha, my mom's a scorpio and dad's a gemini and I'm a sagittarian with a taurean partner.I really can't see a trend in zodiac coupling. I know -
aries man, leo woman for 4 years.
aries man, scorp woman for 6 years.
aries woman, sag man for 4 years.
gemini man, scorp woman for 2 years.
taurus woman, pisces man for 2 years.
libra man and woman for 8 years.
gemini woman, leo man for 3 years.
and the list goes on and on.

 I'm a sagittarius, in love with a taurus. (x In a lot of descriptions, they don't blend in together. But in my opinion, I really think they do. Taurus people will probably get frustrated of their happy-go-lucky nature, and blunt ways. But taurus will appreciate Saggy's honest, plus, they'll learn what it's like to just.. Have fun with life. As for Saggy people, they'll probably get frustrated because they're a bit too boring for them, they always stay at home, and just relax. But Saggy appreciates Taurus' nurturing character,(I always think of this as puppy love LOL, saggy being the puppy and taurus as the owner). Both are really stubborn and have terrifying anger just that.. The patience is different. LOL.
Both signs really learn something from each other, it's just that.. They have to accept each other's differences in order to maintain the relationship. Both parties shouldn't force the other to change.My parents:

In order of popularity;Pisces woman and Cancer man (myself included) Cancer woman and Virgo man Scorpio man and Libra woman Leo woman and Virgo man ....and the zodiac couplings that I have NEVER (to my knowledge) come across in my 34 years; Pisces woman and Scorpio man Sagittarius woman and Leo man Aries woman and Sagittarius man Taurus and Virgo (any combination) IP: Logged |

For me, I generally see the stereotypical water sign pairings. While Gemini women are usually with Sag/Leo men.
Mom - Cancer, Dad - Pisces (divorced after 20 years)friends:
Cancer woman and Pisces man (7 yrs)
Gemini woman and Sag man (3 yrs)
Cancer woman and Scorpio man (5 yrs)
Taurus woman and Libra man (2 yrs)
Capricorn woman and Aries man (less than a year) All these relationships are still going strong. As a Scorpio woman I've never been in an serious relationship however, I did happen to date a Gemini guy. Who knew that pairing would be so common, that being said the Gemini was a lil too cold for this triple water. I only know one fellow Scorpio who's married, but I have no idea what sign her husband is.

I can’t say much for patterns but I know a lot of unconventional couples that have stayed together for a long time.My parents – Sagittarius woman & Virgo man, around 27 years, still together
Family friends – Cancer woman & Aries man, around 22 years, still together
A friend of mine – Virgo woman & Libra man, 2 or 3 years, no longer together
Another friend of mine – Capricorn woman & Capricorn man, 3 years, still together
My previous relationship – Scorpio woman & Sagittarius man, 3 and a half years, no longer together
I also know a Gemini woman & a Capricorn man who were together for a long time but I don’t know how much, they’re no longer together

Both parties shouldn't force the other to change. so true I am also a Sagittarian involved with Taurus ,and this bull doesn't want to move an inch. He really does love the quiet in-doors and his idea of "fun" is renting movies, ordering pizza and cuddling all day long;and this is even in hot weather mind you. But you are definitely spot on with regards to the "steadiness". The seemingly passive energy of Taurus is amazingly soothing for my restless nature; you just feel that there is nothing that you have to "be", have to "do" etc. Just relax: It's really quite affirming.

My parents -Aqua Mum/Sco Dad = 50 years togetherFrom friends and acquaintances I see lots and lots of couples of the same modality or square signs. Second place are neighbouring signs, like Lib/Sco. Moon and Asc play a big part too. Frequently, there is an absence of bonding aspects. What I mean is, plenty of couples have a Sun/Moon connection [for example, the man's Moon to the woman's sun/ but no sextiles, conjunctions etc, nothing. Have seen alot of Scorpio/Libra pairings myself, my parents were Scorpio mom and Libra dad. Also have a Scorpio ex and me being Libra. Also have seen alot Sag man with Pisces woman couples

virgo - virgo
virgo man - taurus woman (not sure if this couple will last, lots of arguing..)

A lot of the signs people are rattling off, are right next to each other on the wheel. So a lot of times when those seemingly incompatible sun sign couples get together, odds are they probably do have inner planets in some of the same signs. Take the Aquarius-Pisces couple example. A lot of Aquarians have inner planets in Pisces - my mom did. A lot of Pisces have some of their planets in Aquarius.So we're probably really talking about conjunctions, here. IP: Logged |
