I have Saturn conjunct my Vx. The man in whom I'm interested has his SN conjunct my Vx exactly. My understanding is that both SN and Saturn have to do with past lives and karma.

I was recently told that the point opposing Saturn is the "freedom point"; so it followed that my partner's NN path would aid me in fulfilling this freedom point. (Or perhaps in fulfilling my freedom point, I help him to follow his NN path? Hmm, still not clear here...) I'm still trying to figure out how my Vx fits into all of this.

In Astrology 2.0, page 2, iQ's thread on Saturn's opposition, the freedom point, has been bumped up. There is more info there.

My vertex is conjunct a close relatives NN. Still trying to figure out this contact. My husbands venus is conjunct my vertex, and our Draco vertexes are conjunct. My vertex is in Scorpio conjunct the ruler of my descendant by 2 degrees in my 5th house indicating fated romantic encounters and partnerships. That what I've been told anyways.

Those are all the things you look at to get a fix on what to look for.

Intercepted Signs are one of those things.

You do this with both charts.

Figure out where they meet and then go from there.

When there are multiple meetings in strategic places, then you feel comfortable with saying that it is a Karmic bond. Especially if it is Vertex or the Angles, something that changes a lot, or is out of the ordinary.

Sun Conjunct the North Node is the Karmic Link.

Oh, and I forgot; Star-Crossed ties.

And the biggest player is Uranus: all aspects exact

Some psychics have also told me that we're destined to meet to help each other grow spiritually. Would those aspects you mentioned show something about how we're gonna do it? Or do they show who owes who something in this lifetime?

If I understood correctly, it matters if one of them activates the intercepted signs/houses of the other.
I was interested because I am in a such situation right now, I have intercepted signs, he has intercepted signs, my ASC/DSC falls in his intercepted sign/house (4th), his Stellium in my intercepted 1st house.

We also have:

NN conjunct
My Sun conjunct his Antivertex
His Jupiter/Mercury conjunct my Antivertex
His Mars on my SN
Sun conj ASC/Sun sextile ASC
ASC trine ASC
His Moon exact on my MC
Sun, Venus in the 12th
Saturn-Sun DW
Karma-Saturn DW (conj and trine)
Vertex exactly quincunx Vertex (I don't know if this counts)

among other aspects.
