I was wondering if anyone here had ever compared "death" charts to natals. As in taking the chart from the day/time/location of a persons day of death and comparing it to that persons natal chart..

If you have, did anything significant show up?

Hmmm, my sister in law died a few years ago, I had ran her chart with transits at of her time of death, not an actual stand alone time of death chart.
Really I couldn't go any further than that, it was to sad and the transits on that chart were downright black n scary! I've never seen such a terrible chart, it looked like her natal chart had a tornado of death sitting on it triggering every painful thing possible in her natal, like there was no escape!
Her natal chart was really tough already and then those transit...ugh!
She hung herself....it was so tragic n I don't think she meant to actually go through with it she was just wanting attention.
She had a history of fake suicide attempts and she did this with her kids n she thought my brother(her husband) in the other room. Her children found her(the youngest was only 5) a neighborhood boy had to cut her down n was trying to revive her when my brother got back.
She didn't realize my brother had quickly ran down the block to put gas in her car and her kids had went outside to play with their friends, nobody realized she was missing until it was to late.
The day before she did it, my brother realized she hadn't been paying their bills, she was in charge of handling the money. She had emptied their bank account on something but wouldn't say where she'd spent the money. Nobody was able to find out where the money went but they think she had started using drugs again after many years of being clean.
Really I can't even think of that chart it was so disturbing!
Maybe that's just my emotions because of the whole situation but honestly I think anyone who looked at it would be disturbed by it.
I will never again look at a death chart... It's to painful!

The 3 children were not my brothers they were from her 1st marriage, he has tried so hard to hang onto them but they were sent to her family, they each went to different places. He's still not okay, she used his belt to do it. She was angry that he'd found out about the money and was questioning her.

He stayed in there house for a year n didn't touch anything of hers...ppl had to come and move everything for him. The clothes she left on the floor were still untouched a year later.

It's scary because her mother did the same thing, I wonder where you see that in a chart?
Her oldest daughter helped cut her down, she was 13...she's suicidal now to. My brother doesn't have contact with them anymore because their family is afraid he will be a trigger for memories of that day. I can't even explain how surreal all that was....like, "can this be real or is it a dream/nightmare"?

like casting an event chart of the day of passing. guess it would be akin to personalized transits.
For example :
my dad passed away on nov 9, 2003 at 8:02am in tieton, wa
so i drew up an event chart using that info and compared it to his natal chart

@Gabby...

Sounds like an ongoing nightmare come true. I have no idea how people recover from that and find peace, though I know some people can...

Are you and your brother on good terms? Is your wisdom passing over to him, helping him find his footing again...maybe? I'm trying to understand what kind of crazy family or legal system would separate the children afterwards and block them from seeing their stepfather, that is too cruel.

But sorry, ignore my questions if I'm being nosey. I was just wondering where there might be hope for them.

@fairaqua

I have an afflicted 8H Pisces moon (squaring Neptune and Mars.) I've never been suicidal ~ not that that proves or disproves your theory. For me, an 8H moon hasn't meant depression so much as fascination with death, the occult, taboo stuff. I'm attuned to the darkness around me, but it usually doesn't seep in, if that makes any sense.

Edited, can't think straight today

I remember you saying how well you got along with your dad.

What did you discover in the charts? Anything?

I'll post my findings later, too.

Geeez.... What a story.

My grandmom had my aunt's chart done but the astrologer didn't do any interpretation for her. When she moved to America, she passed away due to choked with food. Anyway, my mom at time still in my country received the news. She went to the astrologer and pretended to ask: "why didn't you interpret my sister's chart?" And he said, "as far as I know she's not in this world any more."

My mom probably decided to burn the birth chart just because of the painful memories. So I'll never find out...

Anyway. An observation based on famous people is that they tend to die when the sun is in a sign square to their sun.... I just noticed that but never look into it

Reading that gave me goosebumps...

my dad was an aquarius and the sun was in scorpio when he passed. Not square by degree but defintely by sign , interesting..

T Sun conjunct his ic exactly
T Sun squared his natal moon/uranus conjunction
Pluto is the ruler of the transit chart it was trine his asc and 12H uranus, his sun's ruler
T Moon square his asc and sun
neptune, his 8H ruler is exactly conjunct the 12H cusp of the transit chart and square transit neptune and trine t mars
his natal saturn falls exactly conj T chiron and opposite T saturn, in the 4th (natal saturn and T chiron) and 8th (T saturn) houses of the transit chart

btw i cut the orb fact back to 70 before i compared

Moon represents relationship with mother.
I had a dark relationship with my mother and lost her at an early age (I guess you could say she died by her own hand)

I'm very fixated on the Death Penalty and the Holocaust, especially why it keeps happening to the Jews. If it's a Nazi movie, history or alternate history, I have to see it.

not morbid, kinda interesting. but would you look at a natal chart with progressions or just a 'day of death' chart?

Both! A progressed chart would probably show why while the TOD chart would show that it was your time to go at that particular moment by aspects created between it and the natal.
The only thing is, if you dont know both times to the minute, tob and tod, the charts could seem less significant with house cusps not falling where they are supposed to be
i dont know how to post the chart from my current interface, but i'll edit it in

Pluto opp. Pluto.
I've noticed this aspect in Garcia Marquez's chart the day he died.
It was exact.
