Just wondering. For my own reasons, obviously.

If not, how would you describe your parents' relationship, if you feel like going into it?

my Scorpio man is a Full Moon baby, but his parents are not divorced and never will.

The square between Sun and Moon is what points to parents being at odds with each otehr at the time of birth of the native with that aspect.

I just recalled a long distance friend, she has the square, and she was adopted.

My mother in-law also has the square, and that sounds quite a bit like her parents. Also a different era, around the forties.

My mom and I both have the opposition, and I think it maybe just points to having parents who do things VERY differently, which can feel like a tug of war for kids, at least internally. I know I felt an internal tug of war between how much respect I had for one parent, compared to the other.

My parents divorced by the time I was two, but my maternal grandparents never did. They really should have, but times didn't really allow for that.

My sister has Sun in Pisces opposite Moon in Virgo and our parents aren't divorced. A friend of mine has Sun in Cancer square Moon in Libra and his parents are divorced, and he doesn't have a good relationship with them. Please don't quote.

Huh good question, my husband has the square and his parents did divorce.

However, I have the opposition and my dad has only married once in his life to my mom and they have been married for I am thinking at least 35 years or around there. I can say with certainty they will not divorce.

Their marriage is solid, at some point they were for about 10 years having a semi-long distance marriage bc my parents moved to America but my father still had a small business he inherited from his father to run in the Dominican Republic so he would visit us regularly monthly more or less and stay for a week or so but eventually he closed that business down and moved full time with us in the USA; they have never separated or divorced. They are both very loyal and have a respectful relationship with each other, they are partners; my dad has always been very supportive of my mother etc..

Its a marriage based on love and companionship. I feel their love is real, the bond is strong and their marriage is healthy overall; its not strong in the romantic love department IMO though but neither is interested in other people or have ever cheated on each other. Its a solid marriage. They don't fight a lot either and are very united, help each other out, do things together; now that they are older they work together actually and both are actively involved in their church.

They both are Capricorns with Venus in Aquarius.

That describes my maternal grandparents as well (my mom has the opposition). It was an era where people didn't do that, and my grandma would have had a very hard time indeed if she had left (not to mention the fact that they all literally feared for their lives with my grandfather).

My boyfriend has the square and his parents are divorced. My mother also has the square and my maternal grandparents loved each other very much but were separated most of their marriage due to my grandfather working in another country trying to provide for his family.

I get along with my dad super wonderfully but my mom has this driving me bonkers effect on me not as much now in my 30s. I do love them both very much. However my bond with my dad is deeper and strong and the tug of war it feels like I have that with my mom specifically; with my dad our interactions are very peaceful.

Same here, actually. When I have physical distance between my mom and I, I find her more tolerable. Living close by and now having grandchildren for her to annoy us with her borderline personality disorder antics has become a source of energetic disruption for me again. It's best if I keep her at a distance, and our interactions can be somewhat healthier.

I absolutely do. The OP specifically asked about Sun opposite Moon folks so I didn't think I'd have to specify that. Apologies.

Yes, and their divorce was very conflictive at first. With the years the relationship got better and now they get along very well. I'm not very close with my father (Sun trine Saturn maybe?).

I can relate with that very much. My love for her is deeper at a distance...

My son has the opposition and yes his father and I are divorced.

I didn't know that you and I were in the same boat Violets, both having a mother with borderline personality disorder. I know exactly what you mean about energetic disruption, and it's hard for her to stay away when there's a lovely grandson for her to visit.

I, however, am plagued by a Cancer moon that would feel waaaaay too guilty if I moved away from her. It's a doozy Cancer moon. Makes me more conscientious than is good for me. Grrrr.

Yes, and I feel more emotionally healthy when I have that distance between my family and I. I have Pluto in 3H, and while I love them very much it's harder for me to maintain my own balance when I have to be around them often.
