What aspects, placements, house positions ms planets in signs would be indicative of someone that is a manipulator? Likes to lead others to believe they are something they clearly are not?Ive been keeping tabs on someone that does this. From the minute it was happening I sensed they were being deceptive it was quite obvious to me but not others for some strange reason. I'm just curious what kind of individual would do this? Seems relative to predators in extreme cases, no? This person claims to be a Taurus sun but they are so deceitful that I naturally cannot trust them when they give me birthdetails to calculate birth info. My Aquarius friend also caught onto this "Taurus" deceptive ways. So what things should I look for?????!! IP: Logged |

I think it's the dark side of Scorpio.. and negative Pluto aspects.
If Taurus guy was born with a Scorpio Pluto - it could be opposite his Sun.. and this could lead to such behaviour. IP: Logged |

The ex that broke my heart was the biggest compulsive liar, manipulative person I have ever had the misfortune to meet and get involved with. There was once when I asked if he had bipolar cos I was absolutely shocked and disturbed at his behaviour. He's the one responsible for my trust issues lol.He had cancer sun, scorpio moon (conjunct pluto by 1 degree), GEMINI MERC (liar), Gemini venus (flighty cheater), pisces mars (wishy washy and unreliable), sag outer planets. I think water signs made him really messed up, the gem placements only augmented the manipulative behaviour to make it also really verbal too. Mars in 12th house. Mercury in 3rd house. He could tells lies much too convincingly, and covered lies with lies. He enjoyed mind games, it made him feel in control- which was what he needed to be. IP: Logged |

"Everybody lies", House MD  I remember reading that hard aspects between Mercury and Jupiter might predispose a person to lying, but I have this in my chart and... I don't.

Lol what can I say, we had an amazing amazingggg connection and of course synastry, and I couldn't stay away.
Lots of lessons learnt though! Not all men lie. Just like not all men cheat. It's a person thing, not a gender thing lol, just as many women cheat too and deceive good guys.
I have mercury square jupiter like nearly exact and also mercury square neptune (not very tight though) and I sure don't manipulate or twist the truth! Waste of time.

I spent too long giving them the benefit of the doubt. They'll be as faithful as their options.@thread: Mercury quincunx Pluto is a skilled manipulator. Mercury conjunct Jupiter = probably has good intentions but exaggerates

They say virgos are detail orientated, somewhat critical, alittle insecure, sarcastic well they're all kinda true lol! Cos I can be alittle critical (towards myself mainly), I am kinda not too secure, I can be alittle sarcastic (esp so when I get upset) and I am good with details in work. I do appear alittle aloof at times, which is also a virgo stereotype! LolJust like Aries are kinda impulsive and argumentative (but also determined and resilient), Taurus are stubborn and money loving, Gemini are really into stimulation and are witty and have a tendency to be flighty and cheat... Cancers, with their love for family and food, and are moody and needy and like mind games, Leos with their regal air and flamboyance, as well as ego, Libras with their charm and romantic tendencies, scorpios with their intensity, fear/paranoia and tendency towards manipulation... Sags, who are quite blunt and fun loving, but need sometimes too much freedom, Cappy, with their love for hardwork, need for status and like money and are logical, but can be alittle rigid at times... Like Betty Boop said, definitely Scorpio/Pluto gone wrong. I think in general this is mainly the domain of the water signs and their ruling planets. Well, throw one air sign into the mix - Gemini. They get off on it and it's sport or a game to them.

I 2nd afflicted mercury and badly expressed gemini placements. Scorpio/afflicted pluto would come in 2nd, but most scorpios do not do this. One of the most manipulative decietful people I have ever known, he is a sociopath I believe, was asc and sun in gemini with moon and mercury in cancer and pluto was closely squaring his sun, moon, and mercury.IP: Logged |
