Anyway, as I was watching the movie, I realized I had three Avengers that truly topped my list. But there is only one that I really like the most—Doctor Strange.

Doctor Strange is by far my favorite avenger. I absolutely love how they picked the perfect actor for this role. Benedict Cumberbatch nailed this character to a tee. His expression and his vibe all pointed towards knowledge and mysticism. It was a perfect fit. The way he talked and moved his body also added to the dimension of the character. His facial features show that he was once an earthly intellectual but his clothing (the cape) shows that there are things that only those who are ready will know. It shows how his character became a balance of both the mental and spiritual, not just one way or another. Natally, he has Aries moon square his Sun in Cancer, and a couple Leo planets. As such, he became well-suited for Doctor Strange’s initial arrogant attitude.

I attribute my love for this Doctor Strange to my Uranus and Neptune in the 8th house. The 8th house not only rules the occult but also science. Doctor Strange is a perfect blend of both worlds. Although the magick may have been exaggerated (as they always are in movies), the creators definitely did some research and delivered the story to be almost accurate.

One of the main reasons for Iron Man being my favorite Avenger is that his powers/abilities come from the super advanced technology that he developed all by himself. His level of genius, along with his creations, put him on a level that allows him to contend/work with the likes of Thor, Hulk, and the rest of the super entities within the Marvel universe. I think that makes him the most realistic character, and one of the most inspirational, because there may come a day when a Tony Stark will actually exist (Elon Musk maybe the closest example we have today). Captain America and Black Panther fall within this category too, but their abilities, for the most part, are limited by the extent to which the human physique can do certain things. On the other hand, like the Arthur C. Clarke saying goes, "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic". That is something that sets Iron Man apart from the other two, he can continue to develop his technology in order to attain more abilities/powers. The new suit he uses in Infinity War is one example of "magical" technology, but totally possible and attainable in the not so distant future.

There is definitely some astrological bias as to why the cinematic portrayal of Tony Stark/Iron Man by RDJ makes him my favorite character. He has Aries Sun, Mercury and Venus in my 1st house, and my Leo Sun is conjunct his Leo Ascendant. Also I have Aries Moon in conjunction with his Aries placements. I totally appreciate and identify with his cool, witty, charismatic persona that shines through even in the middle of battles, though I'm not on that level by any means lol. Beyond that the Marvel Cinematic Universe is absolutely an Age of Aquarius hallmark in that it showcases powerful entities teaming up, working together, and sometimes making huge sacrifices for the greater good. RDJ got the MCU started with the success of the first Iron Man movie, and I believe that his continued portrayal of Tony Stark/Iron Man is one way in which he is balancing his NN in 11th house/SN in 5th house axis.
