However, transit Neptune is also loosely square that late Gemini-Sagittarius axis. Hence the drowning? The mysterious circumstances?

Transit Pluto is on her Sun, transit Saturn was going to go back over it... that girl has had a long, downtrodden couple of years.

You'd think transit Jupiter also on her Sun would have lessened the "rebirth" themes of Pluto but with everything else going on apparently not..

Also it was her Mars return :\ Mars was gonna be going back and forth on her North Node all year since it's going retro soon, also would've squared her natal Neptune. Almost makes me wonder if alcohol was involved and impaired her ability to swim or something with all the Neptune going on.

The full moon eclipse in Sagg was conjunct her Saturn, and Saturn is the ruler of her 8th house. That is not enough in itself to create death in a chart. But it can be the last straw and set things in motion.

She had been having lots of intense 8th house activity.

In her 8th house, for the past couple of years, she had been having Pluto and Saturn back and forth over her Sun and Mercury, with jupiter joining the fray last year. And keep in mind that this was within a south node global transit, a point of loss.

Natal moon and Uranus opposition (or square) tends to confer emotional instability to the native. The current nodal transit was sitting on that axis, amplifying the intensity.

Of course, we have to look at Neptune, whenever a large body of water is involved in death. She has natally Neptune in 8th house, for those natives, death tends to come mysteriously. The new moon eclipse in Cancer opposed her natal neptune, making it a south node connection and a point of loss.

This natal chart has Asc 22°N contra-parallel Sun 21S37, Saturn 21S18, and Neptune 22S18. They were all being transited by Jupiter 21S46 & Pluto 22S17 parallel the planets and contra-parallel Asc on July 8. Those are more specific and personal than even the transiting nodes aligned conjunct/opposite natal Moon, which is certainly a noticeable transit affecting one's emotional balance and mental health.

Because Sun, Mercury, & Neptune are natally in the 8th house, and Pluto is in transit conjunct Sun-Mercury, a life altering occurrence was/is possible.

Then there is Neptune, conjunct natal Jupiter, also square to both natals Saturn & Uranus; and Uranus opposite natal Pluto.

Because Jupiter & Pluto in Capricorn/8th were in the 22-24° range, I suspect that the Asc of this chart, thus the IC are a bit forward by 2-4°, which would put Jupiter & Pluto in quincunx to natal IC. (The 4th house is the first house of endings.)

That is a huge load of transits to deal with and to many astrologers it would certainly look like potential disaster or the door to her life slamming shut.

Her chart ruler is Mercury. Natally, Mercury is in the 8th house of death. Her death happened during Mercury retrograde, and during North Node in Gemini whose ruler is Mercury.

I just read the lastes article on her death, and it appears that her son, when found was wearing a life jacket. It seems that the two of them got off the boat and went swimming, perhaps the she wanted to teach him, and she gets caught in a powerful current which that part of the lake is known for.

Looking at her chart, her 5th ruler conjunct her sun in the 8th, it can be seen how her child got dragged into the situation with her; the two of them could have drowned together.

About the astrology of her death, one thing is for certain, astrology or any other esoteric science cannot predict death. Accidents or losses can be foreseen, but not death itself.

Since she has natal Mars square Uranus, Mars in the 11th, and Uranus in the 7th (a death inflicting house in vedic), it all points to her natural proneness to accidents. With saturn having entered her house of DC sign, it seems that this is a time for her to especially avoid getting into risky situations.

Trasnit NN also on her natal moon, which rules her 2nd (another death house in vedic) perhaps points to another health-related situation.

I watched Glee as a teenager and when Cory was found dead, I was shocked and sad for days. It's just so strange that her body was found on the exact same day as Cory's. I'm sure a numerology expert can realize something from their names and dates of birth.
