And she is comming in like a lamb. As the saying goes, she will go out like a lion but in the meantime, enjoy the gift of March & a promised spring.

Sunshine here - well, not so much now, but it was nice for a while. My mint plant I thought I'd killed, is growing new shoots, so that's good.

I liked it a year ago, when Spring came early. I wish I lived in a place that is like that every year- I miss California at times.

Geez, time is moving so fast. A thread was bumped from last October, and it doesn't seem like that long ago.

Well, it's nearly always beautiful here in Southern California but...

March is a good month. It's my son's birthday!

Ah contraire. If it comes in like a lion it goes out like a lamb. And vice versa
Or at least in my neck of the woods....

It's the coldest day of the year here so far, and it is sleeting...but one flowering bush by my front door is budding! That is to be expected, though, because the birds were singing the past few mornings. The birds tell the flowers to bloom. "Spring will be here soon enough."--Linda Goodman

It was one year ago today we got 28 heavy wet inchs of snow, 55 mph winds and we lost power for 7 days. The whole upper midwest was slammed.

The chick-a-dees are singing their mating song and it`s maple syrup makin` time !

With the cold nights and 20 degree days, the sugar maples are tapped and the sap is running to make home made syrup.

We're having our only "sticking" snow of the year!

(Though it's now 35 and is melting.)

It's already raining and melting the snow:

Ah, well - it's been a wonderful day to cuddle and watch movies

My husband was even able to wrap up in the state he'd been in and is back for the day
...and has been tagged by the little girls (he's been walking around all day with heart stickers on his back).
