During a particularly difficult time of life for me in the 1990s, I had a peculiar dream. He appeared as a symbol in this dream...

Since my belongings are packed, my dream journals and my astrological chartworks on Mandela's life are not easily accessible.

From what I recall right now in the dream...

I was at a lodge. I knew it was somewhere in the *High Sierra Mountains. {{Note: Christmas 1979- NewYear's 1980 *I had taken care of some property (6weeks) there for a friend of a friend whose Father had just suddenly died and he needed to go back to Illinois to manage the execution of his Father's Will~~ Had some surreal connections and happenings occur there during that stay.}}

I was at a convenience store (like a 7-11) but unlike the chain-store the walls and ceilings were made from wood panels (like wainscoting).

I was an observer in the dream, shopping. Then I was both observing and being another person in the dream.... There were heavy sliding glass doors. There was a teenaged girl in bed-clothes on a simple cot. She was a prisoner there, but no one could "see" her. Then 'Nelson Mandela' stood at the front entrance of the glass doors for the store. The entrance glass doors were open. He stood there as a figure in a suit, standing still, looking in. I remember the glare of light behind him, but there was an overhang or eaves or flat carport roof there over him. There was a wind blowing...

I kept switching back and forth between being the teen and being the observer. I think(?) the glass doors opened for her... She was like an ethereal... A "real" ghost.

Then I woke up with the NAME "Nelson Mandela" imprinted (almost like letters) on the dark slate of my mind (before totally coming to consciousness). I had to confess to myself that I really didn't "consciously" know who he was... only that there'd been a lot of controversy and news about him. He was a 'symbol' the Universe presented to me, and had placed him in a surreal setting... stayed with me. I said to myself that someday I would have to delve into his message, since the Universe thought it was important to leave this sign of his behind.

A decade or more after the dream, I began an interest in Astrology. Transiting Mercury was on my Neptune Urania conjunction in the 10th... 2007, November 6th.

Within the past two years I found Nelson Mandela's astrological chart. There were MANY "special" connections between his chart and mine... And over the past hours since his Death/Passing, I have found even MORE significant synchronicities...

(Perhaps it would make a good task for me, in my own solitary privacy, to break it all out and to write a paper to myself-- about the search for personal freedom which has seemed to escape me... The TRANSITS to my chart right now are 'surreal' regarding this, and the awful incarceration and imprisonment of the Hope I have felt regarding my Life and untapped Potentials... )

I approach this with Blind Sight, today.

"Blind Sight" is a phenomenon regarding un-sighted persons (blind) being able to navigate successfully around objects in a room. Their actual eyes cannot "see"... But the Unconscious, and Intuitive part of their brain functions can "perceive" the hard objects (obstacles) in their environment.

There was sooo much more that I wanted to add to that thread... but time and tight circumstance prevented me.... as it does still, now.

More and more... "significant" Deaths are occuring in my life's "theme" right now, with Polyhymnia (music) highlighted, (along with other 'significant' slow-moving asteroids clicking into 'certain' degree-spaces~ omg, soooo amazing).

VENUS CAPRICORN going to be transiting soon over my Ceres-rx 25.03' Capricorn in Grand Square to my Neptune-rx 25.50 Libra 10th, Opposite Uranus at "25.02' Cancer" (degree of Mandela's Sun is 25.04') in my 8th, Sedna 25.47' Aries 4th (visited by transiting Requiem)...

The Moon "passing-over" my Chiron-rxAqua2nd today. (sorry for my gloominess... but it's "what-is" for me today)

At the age of the "teenaged-me"(circa 1972) in this late 1990s dream I had of Nelson Mandela (place of 1979-80), MUSIC is the way I survived. The "Schubert Impromtus" (A.Brendel) had played a large part in getting me through the emotions during times of abuse... {It was a time where I utterly grossly failed in my first attempt to actually physically escape--

The risk I took towards 'freedom'-- that 'safety jump'-- took me FAR down into the deep hands of disguised 'wrong-authority.' This trust-jump I made 'for my future' (towards my 'individuation' and Freedom) had shockingly taken me out of the proverbial frying pan, and into the jaws of Hell's FIRE itself... And in this new place, I had NO one to 'tell' it to, anymore. I blamed my self. Cruel world. Tough world. Silenced. Until recently....

The grief & turmoils of my soul's inner life never completely ceased to cycle, since that time---

Today, I dedicate this posting to those who HOLD within their HEARTs their lost, broken, dis-abled, imprisoned and forgotten 'impossible dreams'....

May the Passing of this phenomenal GIANT act as a Sign for (not just me but) THE WORLD at Large.... as we Search for Meaning and Peace, may the currents also provide Healing and yield Freedom for those who feel hopelessly Bound up with acute Limitations-- Financial, Physical, Mental, and Spiritual.

THANK YOU GOD, for the Life of this great Servant NELSON MANDELA-- as a Gift to the Nations...

May the bells of Freedom still wildly toll and Ring!
