well they're advised to by the cdc, they're only supposed to stop wearing the masks when they're outside where no one gets sick really anyway 🤷♀️they're still getting sick, still getting hospitalized and in some cases still dying anyway because there's too many strains, it's just the equivalent of a flu vaccine though considering covid's high recovery rate it's all fairly senseless anyway IP: Logged |

i honestly haven't seen anyone just outside near me wearing the masks at all since the beginning, only time was when i was back in brooklyn spent the whole time mildly paranoid when i'd go out to smoke that i'd have to deal with some **** because everyone else had a mask on outside but went alright so eh haven't been there since before the vaccine though 🤷♀️ i know a couple people who were vaccinated and got it anyway though IP: Logged |

This was updated. No masks needed for the vaccinated bc it does work. And half a million people have died. What's senseless is assuming your convenience matters more than people's lives. That's one reason why China pulled through much faster than the US. There are so many people here who just don't give a **** .

You know emotions have been overuling reason especially in those who claim they "follow the science". From a mathematical/statistical standpoint, if Covid has a mortality rate of 1%, and the number of people infected in the US is estimated at 32.9 millions according to the latest number (okay let's round out that number to 33 millions) , then the supposed number of deaths being half a million is way off. 1% of 33 millions, would be something like 330,000 deaths. Not half a million. And that's not even taking into account that since hospitals get paid more money for deaths listed as covid, there will be statistical fudging of numbers in order to get reimbursed more. It's human nature and pretend otherwise is naivety. As for China, anyone using China as a role model for anything or trusting any figures it reports should move there at once and let the rest of us enjoy the perks of democracy, or whatever is left of it now that the CPP has its claws in the US government.And I have been to China by the way.
