No, it was only called an insurrection, because that is mentioned in the Constitution as a reason to prevent running for public office. Why hasn't anyone who stormed the Capitol been charged with insurrection? They were charged with trespassing, property, and related crimes.

When a current leader of BLM actually exploded a bomb in the Capitol to murder Republicans, what was that? Asking for a friend. BTW, she was pardoned by Clinton.

This was not an insurrection. That word was only used so Dems could prevent President Trump from running in 2024, which was the real reason for impeachment 2.0!

Agree!

It also wasn't an 'impeachment trial'.
Had it been an 'impeachment trial', the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court would have presided...as required by the US Constitution.

It was an attempt at a Bill of Attainder and Chief Justice Roberts declined to preside.
