This is the product of a little random idea I got a few days ago. I usually go for a run every morning with my neighbour's daughter (a spunky little good kid.) Its sort of a morning routine of ours and its sort of her mom's way of putting in the extra precaution to make sure she remains safe. Last Tuesday however, I got the brilliant idea of extending our jogging activity into a run and snap picture activity and decided to give you guys and gals a little glimpse around my fav. spots in my neighbourhood. For security reasons, I am not going to share a picture of my house. I am sorry if the first few pics are on the gloomy side but it was raining on Tuesday :P. The elegant little semi-detached houses. I live on a different street with the more exclusive houses but this is pretty much part of the extended neighbourhood. Just picture it with a more sunnier atmosphere Lol! Here is the Commons garden: The Garden trails is one of my fav. spots to run at every morning.

This gazebo is one of my beloved's and mine's fav. location. When we are not out and about somewhere else during out free time, this is the place where we both come to spend some quality R&R time. And I saved the best feature of my neighbourhood for last. . . . . . . . It has one of the most SPECTACULAR Lakeside views in all of this city.

I live in the country and all I could show is the mighty woods or my landscaping. I am also on a hill with about a 1/4 mile steep incline overlooking the lake and late fall, when all the maples, aspen, elm and birch are in color, I`ll try some photos. ------------------ We dance around the ring and suppose, but the secret sits in the middle and Knows Robert Frost IP: Logged |

It looks like you live in a really nice area , I live in Philadelphia where we don't really have "safe"/ "Nice areas" and the few areas that aren't too shabby/nice lookingit's really just a facade because it's surrounded by miles of despair and poverty. We have some nice historical areas though This is a home in my neighborhood we have miles of plain houses which look like this Here's the party street here are some older homes probably in west philly which are occupied by yuppies kids We have lots of stone bridges I love passing under this one IP: Logged |

It is isn`t it ! Waking up to the sound and smell of the open water is the second best thing I get to wake up to every morning . And your pictures are amazing! Love the shoreline! quote: Originally posted by juniperb: I live in the country and all I could show is the mighty woods or my landscaping. Please do! I would love to see them! quote: Originally posted by Saraintheski: It looks like you live in a really nice area , I live in Philadelphia where we don't really have "safe"/ "Nice areas" and the few areas that aren't too shabby/nice lookingit's really just a facade because it's surrounded by miles of despair and poverty. We have some nice historical areas though
But I do see beauty in your surroundings; Especially the bridge overpass. Very nice! IP: Logged |

I'm in Southern California so, yes, we are lucky to have amazing weather all year round. That's why we stay here even through the earthquakes

OH! And I used to live in a ghettoooooo area in New York City. There's still beauty there -- It just takes a little more creativity to catch it on film.IP: Logged |

Reviving this little diddy back since I want others to show off their back yard and I also wanted to add something new. About 10 mins. from where I live is a place called The Guild. The Guild is part of the Greater Guildwood park area that corners the cliffs and the shorelines of Lake Ontario. However, what makes the Guild so special is the fact that this place is the final resting place for architecture pieces from classical Romanesque and Greek inspired Toronto Buildings. Me and my wife affectionately call this place “The Garden of Sinners” ; We mean this in a positive way Lol! Its a nice place that is often used for local plays, music, Weddings and backdrops for photoshoots (a lot of cosplayers love this place.) IP: Logged |

My old neighborhood is currently in the process of being overrun (and ruined) by yuppies and condos. They'll drain the soul of a neighborhood (or an entire area) quicker than those things at Azkaban. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capitol_Hill_(Seattle) If you can't figure out where I live, you should watch better shows. The pictures were here, and now they're gone. IP: Logged |

I always seem to miss the pictures that are up for only a few minutes. Seattle - cool. I'm moving to Bainbridge Island this summer. Really looking forward to it. It's a beautiful part of the country.
