SueCoffee works great as appetite supressant. I don't really do it to lose weight but if I have a cup of coffee around 6 p.m. I usually either skip dinner all together or just have a snack like some fruit or yogurt. If you have no problem with caffeine I think it worth a try IP: Logged |

You may have heard this, but one way to get your metabolism going is to eat small amounts of food all day. Combined with daily cardiovascular exercise this is really best way to lose weight. Munch on low cal snacks all day! And when you eat a meal make sure its small. Lots of fiber will fill you up but not add too many caloriesIP: Logged |

Instead of trying to suppress my appetite or a craving...If I have a bad craving for something loaded with fat, sugar, or salt, I try to come up with a healthier alternative that will still be satisfying. Sometimes, though, you've just gotta go for the real thing. One thing that I have found to be essential is to not let myself get ravenously hungry. Because if I do, I'll just eat anything in sight, lol. If you're into cooking (and I hope you are ) go to foodnetwork.com There's a show called Calorie Commando..The whole show is about converting high calorie food into something healthier but still satisfying. There are tons of recipes, I hope you like it. IP: Logged |

I agree on the coffee thing. I don't drink it specifically for this purpose, but I've noticed that after drinking coffee I usually have no desire to eat for awhile.IP: Logged |

Not exactly diet sugestion, but still...A yoga teacher once pointed out that 'if you pay attention, you notice that you feel your food carvings in your throat chakra'. After that comment I've tried visualizing throat chakra or just blue light instead of taking a snack or two. ------------------ No hesitation. No regret. No looking back. IP: Logged |

Hi sue I so much know how you feel about this food thingy... The best way to avoid overeating for me now is just to eat alot of fiber. Food that makes you full for a long time. Dont eat white bread or white spaghetti or rice. Instead i advice you to eat bread of spelt and pasta of spelt, and a big salad before dinner with water.
