Which is the best form of psychic healing - cleansing your aura, or healing your chakras? Or are they both the same thing? I'm a bit confused about the difference.

Also, does healing the aura/chakras help to heal the physical body, or is it the other way around (physical healing having an outward effect on your aura)?

I think you can get aura healing done from a number of metaphysical type places. I have heard that holes in your aura leave spaces for negative energies to connect. I am not sure if auras or chakras would be different in importance. It would probably be beneficial to keep both strong.

Hey, thanks for the awesome replies!!!

Since I made my post I've been looking into different types of healing and I've been receiving distant reiki to GREAT EFFECT... and I have also just learned about pranic healing and put my name on a pranic healing list. Something inside me is nervous about working directly with the chakras but I'm comfortable with reiki because I know that it flows to where it is needed and it can do no harm... and with pranic healing I believe it works with the aura.

I'm getting more and more interested in all of these different types of healing modalities! Planning on tai chi and qi gong next year too.

Also, it's really interesting looking at those diagrams of where the chakras are, because I've had pain/discomfort in my back at the site of every single chakra from the throat down to the sacral (and possibly the base)! It has all been a matter of structural alignment and my osteopath has corrected all of it now, with most remaining problems being muscular rather than at specific sites down my spine. So I wonder if osteopathic manipulation has an effect on the chakras... you always hear things like people feeling better in their overall general health, more energy etc after they've had osteopathic treatments. It's also interesting, since my last appointment and he checked on my neck joints, he said they're good now - and it's quite recently I feel I've been expressing myself better. In fact it's all been since he did a big adjustment to my neck a few weeks ago. Weird!
