I've just discovered a lot of conjunctions in Solar Return charts with natals and composites. One conjunction which made me really surprised was the following with my current date (SR for solar return, n for natal):

His SR2020 Asc conjunct my nAsc exact
(in his natal 7th house)
& conjunct his Draco Dsc (<1*)
& conjunct my Draco name asteroid & DNA
& my SR2021 Vertex (<2*)

There are much more that I can share if this topic gets any interest from others.

Generally I am not a big fan of solar returns, prefer progressions and directions, so I wonder if this indeed means anything significant or just a coincidence?

This was a big love, but super bumpy. Off on relationship that had much heartbreak, at least for me. He told me it caused him a lot of pain too. After not speaking for three years, we just reconnected only to say that we hold no ill will for each other and we consider each other a friend now. Even though I know he is not right for me, I have always wished it could be him.

SR Mercury conjunct (wider and out of sign) SR Mars again... and his SR Moon conjunct his own natal Mars. My SR Moon now opposite my natal Saturn. His SR Mercury and Mars conjunct my natal Valentine.

And my Natal Jupiter conjunct SR NN and my own SR Venus. His SR Venus in wide out of sign trine to my SR moon.

My SR Venus square his natal Neptune. His SR Venus conjunct my SR Mercury. His SR ASC on my natal Sun. My SR Moon square the SR Mars natal Pluto conjunction , which also squared and opposed Saturn respectively.

His SR NN conjunct my natal ASC = less than 1deg
My SR NN conjunct his natal DSC = less than 2deg

My solar year has started. His is starting in September.

There’s no major shift but I don’t know if things will change towards the end of this year. In November, tr NN will conjunct our composite IC and my SN, and square both our IC/MCs. Then again, we also have transit Saturn/Uranus going back & forth our Comp Saturn-Uranus square.

The coincidence is surprising indeed. I was just looking at his relocated natal chart. My SR angles for 2021/2022 are conjunct his relocated natal angles. There’s a 5 deg orb this year. Next year they’ll be exactly conjunct!

This year I’ve SR ASC in Cancer. It’s conjunct his relocated natal DSC. Ruler Moon in Scorpio on the 5th cusp. He told me that I’ve become more sensitive lately and I was not like this before.

Next year my SR ASC is in Libra, conjunct his relocated natal MC/Moon/NN. I read that this SR ASC signifies a year of partnerships.

Another friend also has her ex-husband’s SR ASC-DSC in opposite signs with her natal ASC-DSC (not conjunct) when they got married.

Also for my aunt who has natal angles in cardinal signs... her husband’s SR angles were also in cardinal signs the year they wed.

So it seems SR angles matching up with partner’s natal angles can signify some kind of union as both individuals’ life paths merge?

Of course this is just my rough observation. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I've never believed in relocation charts since I never felt any properties of my relocated Asc, and my natal angles were always active in prognostics. I've lived in several countries far from my place of birth, and my natal angles were always sensitive points in both prognostics and synastry.
However! I just discovered that my relocated Asc and Vertex were indeed active in prognostics, and moreover there are some direct links in a relocated synastry which made my jaw drop...

So I guess a relocated chart does not replace a natal chart but rather serves as a 2nd veil?

Here is an example for a relationship start:

my solar arc North Node conjunct relocated Asc exact

my progressed Venus conjunct my relocated Vertex exact

my progressed Moon & Mars in 1° separated from my relocated Dsc

Moreover! my date who also lives far from his place of birth has his relocated Vertex on his Moon opposite my relocated Vertex in the same degree,

and when the relationship started, my progressed Venus on my relocated Vertex was in the same degree but opposite his relocated Vertex and Moon!!!

and his solar arc relocated Vertex and Moon were conjunct in the same degree my natal Moon (also Jupiter and Saturn with a slightly larger orb) and my natal solar arc MC, and his progressed relocated Dsc was in the same degree with his progressed Venus separated from the whole thing by 2°

(to make things more fun, his natal name asteroid is exactly conjunct my Moon, and in my solar arc the same asteroid of his name was in exact opposition in the same degree!)

and in a progressed relocated composite the Moon was exactly conjunct Asc.

That's too much!!!

Now I am a bit worried about my natal angles, I am kind of attached to my Scorpio rising.

What do you think? Is this really valid?

Also heard an astrologer recounted a story where someone (a celebrity) was having an empty love life so she asked her to go overseas. She did and reconnected with a friend who later married her. My friend also met and married her husband after she went away. In her relocated chart she has Venus/Mercury closely conjunct her DSC. Venus rules her 10H. She met her husband through work.

This astrologer was saying when reading transits, should read both your natal and relocated charts.

my progressed Venus conjunct my relocated Vertex exact

my progressed Moon & Mars in 1° separated from my relocated Dsc”

So what do all these mean? When we met, his progressed Moon is conjunct his relocated chart IC. I still can’t decide if these indicate a significant relationship happening for him or just some psychological changes.

When we officially started, his progressed ASC-DSC is less than 2deg conjunct my natal ASC-DSC (opposite signs). Heh heh… fun to notice these stuff. 😉

In my other significant relationship which was also most life-changing, his progressed Pluto was conjunct my natal North Node and his progressed Sun was opposite my natal Sun exact (which is already pretty intense and life-changing), BUT:

at the relationship start his progressed RELOCATED Asc was conjunct my natal North Node within 1* orb

the progressed composite Venus was within 1* orb on my progressed RELOCATED Dsc

the progressed composite New Moon was within 1* orb from my NATAL Dsc, also in big trine with progressed composite Pluto and my natal Venus

Wow, right?...

With my current date at the start of the relationship a progressed composite Moon was exactly conjunct the RELOCATED progressed composite Asc

the RELOCATED progressed composite MC was on his natal Sun and natal Vertex (square to the RELOCATED progressed composite Asc-Dsc axis)

his RELOCATED composite Dsc was exactly on my natal Moon & Jupiter & within 1* orb separated from Saturn

plus our relocated Vertexes exactly opposite on his natal Moon and my progressed Venus

How can this all be a coincidence??

There is also a wider sequential conjunction:

I compare composite to natal to find out what the relationship means to the people involved, but I don’t look at progressed composite to natal, tbh, because it doesn’t make sense to me. I only look at progressed composite Moon to find out what’s happening to the relationship at a given moment, e.g. your progressed composite Moon conjunct Sun signifies the start of your relationship.

The asteroids I usually look at are Juno, Chiron. Still feel iffy about the others…how significant they actually are in impacting a relationship. Pay more attention to the main planets/angles/nodes/vertex/sun-moon midpoint, I would say. These are the key ones. Angles are very important.

Yes, our draco Synastry has lotsa significant aspects. We have:

Dr Pluto conjunct Dr Venus
Dr Moon/Pluto/NN conjunct Dr NN
We both have Dr Moons in Aries and they’re trine one another’s Dr Jupiter
