Try this. Get in the mood. You know, light candles or whatever stimulates your soul bone. Any sort of music, incense etc will help in this ritual. Now, find your word of power. Take a dictionary and close your eyes. Rotate the dictionary around this way and that so that you don't know which side is which. Allow your subconscious to take over and allow your hands to turn to the right page and then point to your word of power. What is your magic word? Mine is reciprocity. Probably the most important value in my life, in regards to relationships, including with the world, and with god. You can also do this while thinking of friends, lover, etc. You can use it kind of like a tarot deck to predict how a situation might come out. Sometimes the meanings are symbolic and you have to do some analysis to see how it applies. Sometimes its incredibly accurate and the meaning will be very obvious. This is a technique thats been used for hundreds of years so give it a try. IP: Logged |

weird... I got: "synodical" synodic/synodal Relating to or involving the conjunction of stars, planets, etc. PS. But I am not well versed in either astronomy or astrology. syn·od·ic (s-ndk) or syn·od·i·cal (-nd-kl) adj. 1. Of or relating to a synod; synodal. 2. Relating to the conjunction of celestial bodies, especially the interval between two successive conjunctions of a planet or the moon with the sun. ------------------ Age is a State of Mind. The first time mustache came up and this is not something a woman my age wants to hear so I tried again. I seemed to have stuck in the M's. Money came up. I will take that one as there is a whole lot of power in money and I need that kind of power badly right now. Thanks BlueRoamer. This was kind of fun. Will try again sometime. IP: Logged |

Cool. My word is Flex;easily bent, adaptable. Hmm... less about power, more about lack... but then again, my thiumb was also on the word 'Flew' as in, past tense of fly.... So I sort of got both.Oh!! The next word was flibbertigibbet, thats funny! It means Flighty gossipy person... hahahahahahaha. Thanks Blueman! I actually gave this advice to a friend, only it was 'Go to a bookstore, randomly pick a section, randomly pick a book, randomly open it, read the first thing you see.. that is your message. I believe in belief. IP: Logged |

This is fun...Opened the pages of an old Websters dictionary to see "REQUITE" at the top left hand corner. REQUITE - repay; make return for; retaliate on. Thats the first word I saw. Unfortunately I was too impatient to read your directions BR. This is the second word I found from closing my eyes and pointing to a word on that page... RESIDE - dwell. I do this once in a while...usually from religious books, and I always find the appropriate answers I cant get because my brain is jumbled or Im feeling negative or confused.
**Edit to add: Interesting!!!!!...This word, requite, is very close to the word you got BR...it's synonymous with reciprocate. -***

Sue a nelson is a wrestling hold where the air is constricted from the victim. This could means you currently feel restricted/boxed in, or you feel emotionally suffocated. It could indicate a situation where you feel like u can't get out.I get the feeling this is not your word of power, but more a reference to a transit/state. IP: Logged |

Lotus is right AG, you can use any book. You can also craft sentences or words by picking out one word at a time and writing them down. This can produce some startling results. IP: Logged |
