http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4O2_rZIgrQI Bless his cotton socks; what he says isn't actually that bad, it's just his expression seems a little OTT, but most of all I think he must have drank too much caffeine that day! Make me a cuppa too, Tom! I want some of what you've been drinking! He's hot, crazy or not.

A lot of celebrities are into Scientology. John Travolta and Kirstie Allie ( sp.? ) to name a couple of others that I am aware of. It is a cult and I would not even go so far as to use the term " religion." Mainly because it seems to be more about self than God IMHO. I was really only joking about Tom Cruise and can't say for sure he does drugs. It may just be that without a written script he just does not express his thoughts well. He has never been one of my favorite actors. He seems to play himself no matter what the part is. There is too much of himself in it and that does not make the character he plays believable to me. I also think he overacts. He never appealed to me physically either. His nose is too big and his legs are too short. Just a personal opinion. I like average to tall men. He isn't ugly either. Just not my type. I am probably not his type either. LOL But whether he does drugs or not I cannot say for sure so really was joking about the way he was talking in this video. He just may not be able to explain things very well. He did appear to be struggling to do that in this video. IP: Logged |

I've thought he was on drugs for awhile now because his mood swings seem so erratic to me. And I've heard people on drugs talk a lot like him, too. That said, I don't think that video is "full" as there are parts where it's chopped, which means it has been edited. Thus, I automatically distrust it. Don't get me wrong, I don't trust Scientology either, but I also don't trust the media. IP: Logged |

Of course, there's a good chance that Tom Cruise isn't personally into cocaine. He might just be an emotionally intense person with mood swings (like someone else I know, hee-hee). Creative souls; deep thinkers and people who feel deeply are often drawn to religion. When I've been focussed on the very serious of life for a while, I find I too get "frivolous" moments of hysterical laughter and silliness. Has Randal recently said "oppinions are allowed, personaly i have no belief system which would cause me too have an oppinion and give me some kind of false power too encourage my beliefs onto others while finding flaws in theres and the opposite then i would gather my believers and wage war on those who dare not believe in my oppinions. Oppinions are a human tool for cause and effect and you all know how the saying goes oppinions are like ? everyone has one, Live and let live By the way did i spell it correct (oppinion)i never use itIP: Logged |

I agree, I understand what you mean. (I hope you don't think the intention of this thread was to wage war on his beliefs??). I just thought Tom's talk was cute and funny. IP: Logged |

You are right, there is far too much negativity in the world. More understanding and less judging I say.IP: Logged |

"I was really only joking about Tom Cruise and can't say for sure he does drugs. It may just be that without a written script he just does not express his thoughts well."Tom Cruise is known to be Dyslexic. Many Dyslexics have problems with expressing themselves. I am one of them myself. I tend to have cluttering speech(disorganized, rapid),and I was misdiagnosed as schizoaffective bipolar disorder because of it. Here is stuff on my blog about Disorganized And Or Rapid Speech in Disorders Other Than Mental Illness http://people.tribe.net/4b0cf8c4-1fc3-4171-92d3-b0915985bf95/blog/2113a0 a9-7e43-4af3-a44a-7970fa49fcb5 I have Moon in Pisces square Neptune in 3rd,and so I have a luminary aspecting Neptune like him I have Mercury in 3rd,and that's very similar to his Mercury in Gemini. There is stuff on Dyslexia in regards to speech problems in my blog entry,Addressing Misconceptions of Dyslexia http://people.tribe.net/4b0cf8c4-1fc3-4171-92d3-b0915985bf95/blog/163b1c 3c-b4b9-4757-8ed5-f65bfb5291af I don't trust psychiatry too. I am concerned that a lot of my fellow neurodivergents that are misdiagnosed and put on psyche drugs. I am especially afraid for neurodivergent children. Many minorities including especially blacks are misdiagnosed by psychiatrists. Therefore I agree with him on some points when it comes to psychiatry.
Also with my practicing Astrology and believing in Unitarian Universalism,New Age,and Neopaganism, I am nobody to point fingers at him in regards to how controversial his beliefs and practices are. It would be like me throwing stones while I am in a glass house. I did an astrological post on Tom Cruise which I will post soon.

Cruise isn't a Leo, he has Sun in Cancer trine Neptune in Scorpio. He completes a grand water trine with Jupiter in Pisces, which can indicate someone with (possibly unrealistic) spiritual idealism. From what I have read about Scientology, it's not my cuppa - and neither is Tom. Meh. IP: Logged |
