Hmmm, guess with my Moon in Aries I will never be famous. Oh well, I am not much into people knowing everything there is to know about me. Fame takes away your privacy or your ability to have a private life. But, for the record, there are some major peeps that share my moon. One of my Favorites is Mark Twain (also a fellow Sag)
Others: Salvador Dali Cate Blanchet Malcolm X Janet Jackson Martin Luther (the founder of the Lutheran Church) Calvin Klein Tyra Banks (another Sag Sun) Josef Stalin (not so cool, but still famous) Harriet Beecher Stowe Jeffery Dahmer (icky) Angelina Jolie Tupac Shakur Kevin Bacon and the list goes on and on. In fact, for anyone that is interested you can check out the sun and moon signs of various people on the website: www.metamaze.com From what I see, people with their moons in Aries have a tendancy to rally the troops and get things moving. It may also have something to do with the Sun and Moon combination. Someone like Martin Luther, with his Sun in Scorpio is a reformer concerning religion. He dove deeper in the meaning of confession and caused the reformation concerning being saved through grace.
Someone like Tupac caused the music business to polarize in another way. I watched a promo for his new movie and he stated that his goal was to get people moving into the right direction concerning responsibility and community. Writers such as Harriet Beecher-Stowe and Mark Twain pointed out the hypocricy of society and the tragedy of taking others rights away. I can see that kind of movement in an Aries moon. When we see something that isn't right, we tend to jump in and fight (LOL...I made a rhyme). IP: Logged |

About celebrities... One thing I have noticed is that the majority of minority (ha!) actresses are Leos. For example: Halle Berry, Angela Bassett, Jennifer Lopez, Whitney Houston, Vivica A. Fox (who shares my July 30th birthday), ect. I wonder why that is?...IP: Logged |

I remember I once read Toni Morrison's The Bluest Eye long ago and felt very emotionally attached from the first page to the last. Turns out Ms. Morrison and I have the same Moon/Sun signs! I always knew we had the same birthday.. but never knew her Moon until now. I wish metamaze.com also had celebrities' ascendants.... as of now, it is a fun and informative site, though! IP: Logged |

I suppose the 10th house moon is the craving from the public for emotional attention or popularity. But yes, I have heard that 11th house moon is just as good.

I have Moon in the 10th house. I think this position doesn't mean fame so much as it means that you have an almost subconscious instinct to be drawn to and before the public. In my experience, people with this placement (including myself) "found" themselves "popular" or "well-known" or very much in the public eye, rather than had some sort of desire to be there. For me, Leo is my MC and my Moon is in Leo so i've not so much craved fame as I have just lots and lots of attention. I like to stand out in public but I mean I don't want to be famous...
My best friend has the same placement but her Moon is in Taurus, she's wayyy more laid back and has just that something that draws people to her and makes them very very fond of her, thus bringing her before a lot of people and public opinion, and she hardly notices it. Just goes about her day...the same, treats everyone the same...acts the same way... ...but she has a Leo Ascendant if that makes any difference... When youre famous, everyone thinks they know you. This Scorpio couldn't handle that ------------------ "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere" - MLK Jr.

I don't mean to resurrect an old thread, but I just think that that "study" done by celeste teal is faulty. It's not even a study, it's a collection of observations. For starters, a legit study would have to have studied over 150 people. In real life, scientific studies usually have to examine many many many people for them to be considered valid for many reasons. she handpicked all of the subjects in her study, she was probably being a little biased and gravitated to those that she likes the most. If you have certain planets in your chart, you are most likely giong to notice certain artists because they are more complementary to your chart. Also, I think we would all like to think our planets/ charts are the best, so again, biased. lol. btw I have an aries moon. IP: Logged |

Time brings fame. So i will focus on one of fame's aspects, that could be perceived in present opularity and success. Popular, meaning of people,so its perfectly ok to turn to moon sign. Moon by itself isn't indicator, too personal ,but i think it is the fertile ground always needed for success. Sure, its logical to see someone with leo moon in showbiz and not as dentist but,i have noticed, people with moon conjunct asc (especially from 12thH) to be very attractive to wide masses. Aqua moons are the best because they are disconnected, out of this world, and therefore free-minded,better yet-liberated people who use their intuition, they succeed and get recognition, and that's always fame.------------------ Leo/Libra/Capricorn IP: Logged |

Moon in the 1st house - You always manage to end up in the limelight, with the support of those around you. You get a lot of mileage out of your appearance and the way you carry yourself and communicate to others. You could make your living from the public.

I have my moon in the 2nd house and I must say I can gain money easily, sometimes even without effort. So I can't imagine how the effect of the moon will be in the 10th... My husband has it and he promises alot about his future (ow, and I have my Jupiter in DC ofcourse ). But back to me: I have sun in 9th and I always say this to people: you don't have boundaries, people create this. You don't have to live, work and die in a country just because you were born there! The whole world is ours! And I think if someone with Sun in the 9th will become famous it's because of this attitude (ofcourse with it's aspects). I want to be a famous novel writer and a famous photographer. And I think it's possible. You just have to believe in it... But hey, since I'm new to astrology it would be helpfull actually if there is something you see in my birth chart that could be promising about the fame and succes thing... Almost forget to say: I'm a psychology student (but I don't want to do something with it, I'm just studying it for a good base for my literature in future), a powerful columnist (as they say about me), and a beginner photographer.. Here are my birth data: 22 april 1986, 2.30PM Belgium, Beringen, Long: 5E13 Lat: 51N03IP: Logged |

Hi, peeps.I just wanted to add my 2 cents here..about the 10th house issue...my guess is that planets which are conjunct the MC are most likely to bring you "in the public eye" than planets in the 10th. Just think about the fact that House systems may vary, but the angles don't. The MC is still the MC and represents your highest potential and gift to the world at large. So from this perspective, any planet conjunct the MC is like an open door to succcess. Because it means that this "high potential" is already part of your nature. I guess this is especially true for Moon conjunct MC, since the Moon represents your most basic self, your habits, your instincts, your NEEDS, and so on, therefore it would be much easier for someone with Moon conjunct MC to achieve success than it is for the rest of us mortals. Just look at Angelina Jolie, with a Moon-Mars-Jupiter cluster on the MC, but in the 9th house, actually. Of course, the sign which the planet is in shows HOW you go about pursuing your goals. Moon in Pisces on the MC for instance would be much more insecure than Moon in Aries, unless there are other factors in the chart to suggest confidence. Moon conjunct MC would also mean that you feel "at home" in the public eye, having an audience, and it also shows a strong emotional need to be in front of a large audience, I guess. Aside from the MC, though, a planet conjunct ANY angle is likely to make you stand out. just check this out: http://www.dearbrutus.com/angularity.html

very cool link pinkie!i have 4 angulars. pluto on asc, moon on mc, venus and mercury on dc. i also never realized i had these.. Ruler ASC conjunct ASC Self-possessed You are straightforward and direct, and mince no words (tactless). You are able to be yourself natural and at ease in any surroundings. You are proud, stately, and never compromise your dignity. Ruler DESC conjunct DESC Self-contented You are breezy, insouciant, and unaffected (self-centered). You are confident and have a positive outlook because you feel complete unto yourself. You dont need (or leave much room for) the support of other people in your life. Ruler MC conjunct MC Self-sustaining You have an unflagging faith in yourself and your ability to succeed (overweening). You are never at a loss, but are able to make the best of whatever situation you find yourself in. wish i had something in the IC though. jupiter and the POF are too far.. another weird thing i noticed about myself is that i'm very very comfortable in the public but i'm not comfortable with my own relatives. must be capricorn on the IC. i don't like spending time with them coz i feel like i lose power. strange. pinkie, very interesting site.i also have angular planets: venus in taurus (sun also taurus, in 9th house) conjunct with MC (on cusp taurus) jupiter in pisces on DC (on cusp aquarius) saturn and uranus retrograde in sagittarius on IC (on cusp scorpio) jupiter sextile MC But i don't think these are signals for fame. I totally have no idea of the meaning of these positions. Besides, my moon (in libra)is in 2th house. No idea how that will affect me related to fame. IP: Logged | |
