To answer your question, I think that these folks are definitely passionate, but ...., only some of the time, for example in the beginning of an affair or in a romantic setting where they may have put some precious time, effort, money and some other assets into as well .

I have known a few taurus men who are more into control than passion.

To sum it up, when a taurus is in total control of the affair/situation, they can and most probably will be very passionate.

On the other hand, if they feel insecure, their passion may turn either inwards or outwords haphazardly, like a raged bull in a china shop.

My husband is a Taurus,and my ascendent is Taurus. We enjoy our time together.
He is also romantic, and not selfish.
I never use sex as a weapon with him,it is greatly appreciated, and a very strong part of our marriage.He is more likely to get thing done around the house(also very important to us both), after a mix-up!!
Heck, it only takes me 10 minutes to get the whole house swept!!!

wow i didnt know taureans were such great lovers i would have guessed thta pises would have been the most passionate or scorpio generally ad water sign. maybe a taurus with a water moon sign and ascendant.with venus in aries would be really passionate its just my guess. but i guess it would have to come down to the fact that maybe they are naturally passionate lovers .

Unless someone is making love to himself all by himself, it takes two to tango...so I think the most passionate sex has to do with the chemistry, synastry, and synergy between people. No one sign or person is across the board one way or another sexually--sex is something veeerrry interactive.

I've never slept with a Taurus though.
