What kind of physical characteristics are associated with Cancer Rising? Before coming to this board, I thought I had a Gemini Ascendant, but several people here have proved me wrong (and I think they are right!).

I was born 7/30/63 at 4:46 a.m. (just clarified that time BTW!) in Mount Vernon, New York. My moon is in Scorpio...of that I'm sure!

OK, so your Asc. is 22Cancer57 which is the Aries DWAD (see my last post) you have the Sun in Leo and the Moon in Scorpio.

So... here's my synthesis: with the Sun in Leo, Cancer Rising with Venus also close to the Asc at 28Cancer, you may be a wee bit on the plump side and average to slightly below avg. height. There may be some roundness to your face, but also a triangular feel... perhaps heart shaped would be an accurate description.

Though you MAY have blonde hair, I bet there's a tendency to RED, so you may dye it that color or have some natural reddish cast to the hair. With Venus Rising, you may also have a sweet tooth and a nice dimple or two, like a Libra. My guess as to eye color would be blue... but that's not always so reliable.

There is a tendency with Cancer Rising to have thin lips. Usually there is a roundness to the face like a full Moon. And with Cancer Rising there is also a tendency to have EITHER a more than ample bosom, OR be flat as the proverbial board. One extreme or the other.. though with the Venus rising, you may get some extra curves.

As you also have a Leo Sun in the first house, you may have Leonine qualities like big hair, almond shaped eyes or tawny coloring... but Like Lucille Ball (who was also a Leo with Cancer Rising), I'd be willing to bet that your hair has spent some time in the RED family!

I would also question a mole, mark or scar somewhere on the mid to lower chest or at the bra line.

Just a few thoughts.. what say you?

Dimples, yes. Blue eyes, yes. Roundish/sort of heart-shaped face, yes. Ample bosom, yes. And I have a few beauty marks in and around the chest area (that's the same as moles, right?).

The only thing that didn't jive with me was the lips...mine are very full!
