Accuracy in chart development is very important, a program that gives you incorrect data is worthless.

You should check in more than one place, that's my advice. WOW gave me an accurate reading, so did Astrodienst, so I don't know where the problem is, but many people complained about different programs casting different charts (Ascendants) for them. Maybe the problem is that some of the programs don't have the correct data for, let's say, summer time and such. Check around, and good luck!

I ran it through my own program.

Your Ascendant Ruler is Venus in Libra, which may account some for your level of comfort with the Airy Gemini Asc.

I looked to see if there was anything in Gemini in your chart and turned up the big nothing... but I also do not use any asteroids or Chiron.

I have noticed that people often don't seem to relate to their own Ascendant signs... I wonder if you ask other people, particularly those with some knowledge of Astrology how THEY see you.

13 Taurus.. are you middle height, tend to be more curvy than straight in your body shape? Is your hair dark and naturally curly or wavy? Would you say that your face was heartshaped or more squarish? And do you have a mole, freckle or scar somewhere on your neck.. about halfway down on the neck or perhaps a wee bit above?

How would you describe Leo Rising? I'm curious if it fits.

Well, without the rest of the chart to go by, and the particular degree I'm working with, all I can say about Leo rising is:

The tendency with Leo rising is for broad shoulders. There is also a certain "tilt of the head", it's sort of like the way a lion stands. There is also usally a stray whisp of hair that hangs down over the forehead despite the "do". The hair is often dark and "mane-like" but there are a fair share of tawny haired Lions and Lionesses wandering the planet, and the eyes are often almond shaped and remind you of those of a cat.

The funniest thing is that Leo's never seem to look into a camera straight on. In pictures their head will normally be tilted to one side, much like a cat watching the goings on of the silly humans.

In terms of height and body stature.. well that depends alot upon the Ascending degree, the sign the Asc. ruler is in, any planets on or near the Asc. and aspects to it.

Aselzion, I never expected you to be so accurate!! Hats off to you!!

My degree is 24,24 by the way.

Let me just give you some feedback in case you're interested:

I have relatively broad shoulders in relation to my whole upper body which is very narrow but muscular. As for the tilt of the head, people always accuse me of being stuck up because I walk with my head high and I really must look like I despise everyone My b/f says I walk like a queen and that's what attracted him to me in the first place. And I ALWAYS tilt my head on one side or the other, I just can't keep it straight, I don't know why, I just see things clearer and I don't like to stare straight ahead, I guess it's about being more aware of what's going on around you and being PREPARED. And also if I stare at someone, to me that is a provocation, so I don't do that if that's not my intention, and I also hate to be stared at, I take it as some sort of an attack. I have long dark hair, quite thick, I adore having a full set of hair, preferably a bit wavy, I think hair has power (silly, isn't it), and my hairdo is never quite perfect, however hard I try - there's always a loose strand somewhere. Recently I changed my hairdo so that it's more neat, but I'm not very happy because I don't feel like this is the real me, I like my hair loose and free and wild. My eyes are (I think) almond shaped and like I said, I always tilt my head, not just in front of a camera (I HATE to be photographed), but whenever I sit or stand.

I hope I haven't bored you out of your wits, A., but I thought that someone else with a Leo asc. might relate to all this

Degree of Ascendant matters in so far as physical height... all other things being equal.

However, if there are planets on the Asc, aspecting the Asc or Ascendant Ruler this can be modified by the nature of the planet.

The above can also modify the color of the hair and eyes! (And tell whether or not one would be prone to coloring the hair!)

Just an old astrological trick I learned from my Teacher a long time ago. Usually will work.. but all things must be considered... to say that the eyes would be blue, for example, when dealing with non caucasion races would be highly improbable!

As to broad shoulders.. other signs will give that quality or modify it as above; just that Leo TENDS to broad shoulders. Remember, nothing works 100% of the time!

YES.. there is a certain physical type associated with Each Element and also each Quality (Cardinal, Fixed and Mutable).

The Ascending degree gives an indication of physical stature, and to some degree hair and eye color, because the Ascendant represents the Physical body among other things.

As I say.. nothing is 100% reliable all the time.. but I have good luck with the system I've learned to describe physical types. And it also helps with chart rectification.

Took a quick look at your chart and you DO have a Pisces Asc. 12Pisces02 to be exact.

NOW.. if your birth time is off, even by a couple of minutes, which I suspect.. you would have the LEO Dwad of Pisces rising, which could account for your more Leonine appearance/mannerisms.

I don't have time to explain the Dwads right now, but they are 2.5 degree divisions of each sign. There are 12 Dwads in each sign, one for each other Sign of the zodiac, that will color or modify that 2.5 degree section.

You are just a wee bit off the LEO Dwad, so if your birth time is adjusted.. that COULD account for the Leo influence you see. And this MIGHT be an aid to the rectification of your chart.

Of course, it may be as you say that you learned your Leo behaviors from mama Lioness! And as Cat said the Sun in First House could color the Leo influence a wee bit as well...

Just some thoughts... now have to dash off to work!
