proxieme unregistered	posted March 26, 2003 04:18 PM Heya heya - I was just re-visiting Steven Forrest's _The Inner Sky_, and I glimpsed a Table of Archetypes that he claims is useful in getting a feel for the "self triad" (I think that's what he calls it): You (Your Sun), Your Soul (Your Moon), and the Mask that you present to the world (Your Ascendant). Soooo, here's the table (more or less): ARIES -The Warrior ~~ The Pioneer ~~ The Daredevil ~~ The Survivor TAURUS - The Earth Spirit ~~ The Musician ~~ The Silent One GEMINI - The Witness ~~ The Teacher ~~ The Storyteller ~~ The Journalist CANCER - The Mother ~~ The Healer ~~ The Invisible Man/Woman LEO - The King/Queen ~~ The Performer ~~ The Clown ~~ The Child VIRGO - The Servant ~~ The Martyr ~~ The Perfectionist ~~ The Analyst LIBRA - The Lover ~~ The Artist ~~ The Peacemaker SCORPIO - The Detective ~~ The Sorcerer ~~ The Hypnotist SAGITTARIUS - The Gypsy ~~ The Student ~~ The Philosopher CAPRICORN - The Hermit ~~ The Father ~~ The Prime Minister AQUARIUS - The Genius ~~ The Revolutionary ~~ The Truth Sayer ~~ The Exile ~~ The Scientist PISCES - The Mystic ~~ The Dreamer ~~ The Poet ~~ The Face Dancer (I have no idea what that one means - anyone?) So, following his instructions I, for instance, might say that I am the Dreamer with the Soul of the Exile and the Mask of the Detective or the Mystic with the Soul of the Revolutionary and the the mask of the Detective. What would you say for yourself? How about for others that post on this site who's astrological combinations you know? IP: Logged

I am the Gypsy with the Soul of the Sorcerer and the Mask of the Performer or I am the Student with the Soul of the Detective and the Mask of the Child or perhaps.. I am the Philosopher with the Soul of the Sorcerer and the Mask of the Queen. That is FUN and enlightening to boot! The Face Dancer? Hmmm.. strange. Could it perhaps be a reference to the mutablility of Pisces? Like how they have many different faces and dance between them all? I dunno.. that's tough. Thanks for sharing, proxie. IP: Logged

N_wEvil unregistered	posted March 26, 2003 06:34 PM instead of recording the rotation of a 3D object by degrees you count it by number of rotations in radians or something like that...ugh..i hate maths. either way, its a core component of controlling wrist rotations in a character rig...apparently, lol IP: Logged

brunnhilde unregistered	posted March 26, 2003 07:37 PM I would be th mystic with the soul of the exile and the mask of the sorcerer...though I chose the last one I don't see how it fits with the rest probably the same way my 'mask' doesn't show who I am? CHose it for not of this world aura. That would be pisces sun, aquarius moon and scorpio ascendant. IP: Logged

theFajita3 unregistered	posted March 27, 2003 12:36 AM Well if my sun is Aquarius, my moon is Taurus and my asc is virgo? I can't tell by the chart because it's got 4 columns in some signs and 3 in the other. Is it just me, or does this sound eerily like tarot? Oh, don't worry about it fajita. I'm quite a bit confused with the 4 columns but only 3 signs of concern (sun, moon and asc) as well.
