cat, im hoping proxieme used her cut and paste feature.

Nope - typed from a book.

*phew*
>wipes forehead<
>cracks knuckles<

No worries, though - doing so helps me to remember the info; and at least this way I did something marginally useful w/ my insomnia

Ack...I have more to write, but I'm in the midst of wading through Photoshop.
More to come...

(Er, comments, not bits from the book - no more skirting the edges of copywrite law.)

Thoughts.
Fragmented.

Aaahh!

I'm a monster! (apparently so's my mum) Moon in Capricorn. BEWARE!

I don't think I'm that bad, although I do know not to bite a hand that could feed me. That's not using people, that's just smart!

And my mum, she's not cold and childish. She DID make us work for the things we wanted, but doesn't every good parent?

Tommy-Cat,

You are too hard on yourself. My grandmother was a beautiful Leo with a strong Cappy Moon. My advice to you is to be more aware of those signs that you form a square with, such as Scorpio and Taurus. There is always a reason we find our square to be intriguing, but we also find them to be so trying at the same time. You may find that Scorp to be sexy, alluring and so forth, but are you seeing her with your real eyes?

Don't let you Leonine pride to conquer cloud what you want and need in life. You are a Leo, ruled by the Sun. A Scorpio Woman, as beautiful and intelligent as she is, will NEVER pay tribute to what you are, no matter what you do. It will always be that way. Take time to really look at what was said in Love Signs. It's not they the Scorpio woman is wrong or in any way bad, she is just not going to be what you want in a woman and until you look into your heart and realize what you want, you will never understand that concept.

I know, because I tried so hard with my squares...the Virgo's and the Pisces. But the fact remains, they cannot be what I need them to be, even though they are perfect in their own right.

Sorry, I just had to add my two cents...

and shoot a few arrows into another Leo dudes butt....so Saggie of me.

He pays me a *billion dollars a day*.

(Naw, I just typed it up in Word first, then copied and pasted - too many words, too tired, too many potential major typo mess-ups...I mean, they're still there, but I prolly didn't misspell "I" like I woulda going free style.)

If it's any help, my roomie just came in pert dern drunk and arguing w/ his g/f...and it's, oh...2:20.

I had this book years ago and lost it somehow...am going to get another one! Reading these Moon sign descriptions reminded me how kind of "smart a*s" , yet refreshing, Debbie Kempton Smith's prose is. And Scorp Moon...yes, that's me all right and doubly so since it's also in the 8th house.

I had to smile at her John Wayne reference to this Moon; I suppose she knows that he too, had a Scorp Moon; in fact he was a Gem/w/Scorp Moon like I am, and I've told some who know me, to think of me as a female John Wayne! HA! (Though my Pisces Ascendant does soften this, I think).

Anyway, thanks Prox for taking the time and effort to type all these out.

I can appreciate what you're saying. I'm AM starting to see things that way too.
You've got a way with words that's really quite impressive, Ms. Pidaua. That Mr. Leo of yours is a lucky guy, I do believe.

But this isn't the subject of this thread. My apologies....

As you were.

Hey! What's with all this scorp trashing?! Man, that's just WRONG! Turn my back for a day and look what happens!

No really... I like my squares (Leo, Aquas)
It's not going to run as smooth as a trine or sextile... however, I've known a few sextiles and trines that I would hit it off with at first and then really not like them much later...

Leo and Scorpio Is something that doesn't just flow along... requires a little work. Keeps the blood circulating.

I haven't had any romantic relations with a Leo... I think they're scared I'M KIDDING! (or not)

How in the world did we get to discussing this on this thread?!

Hey Ms. Pidaua

Nice description on moon in sagittarius. For me, most of it was true. The part about saggie moons being "preachy" is true, I have that tendency sometimes, unfortunately lol. I love to laugh, but I'm not sure if my sense of humor is all that great lol, silly maybe.

Just curious Proxi, but if have a Libra Moon in the 4th house....would the Libra Moon you listed apply to me...or should I look at the 4th house instead? Thanks.

EL - Both applied to me in a way.
The author says that your house position itself is what you need, and your Moon sign itself is how you go about getting it.
For instance, I have a 3rd House Aqua Moon - It can reasonably said that I'm a wee bit predisposed to "distancing" myself from my emotions (at least initially). My gut reaction is to step back and look at what's happening in my heart "logically" - and if what's going down doesn't fit into that framework, I've been known to throw a bit of a mental hissy fit. I can go long periods of time feeling *nothing*, and then it all breaks through and I either have a moment of ecstacy or a pretty intense crash.
Besides that, though, I'm incredibly, irrationally loyal - even if I need a mighty dose of eccentricity to illicit that response.
But, on the other hand, I express the above in a heady mix of ADD and general chattiness - once I'm comfortable w/ someone, I can't shut-up (and I need peeps that can at least follow along when I go off on one of myriad tangents). I'm also constantly plugged-in to some form of information, and tend to assimilate both its manner and content pert dern quick.

Make any sense?

Hi, Proxieme :-) If you have the time and if it's at all possible, could you please post the interpretations for ascendant signs (i'm gemini rising) from "Secrets from a Stargazer's Notebook"? Thanks :-)

Proxieme,

I just want to say thank you for posting the Moon Signs. I have never seen such accuracy. My father's girlfriend has a Moon in Capricorn and that describes her to a T. My ex-boyfriend has a Moon in Aquarius the description of people with that moon was absolutely perfect.

As I was reading Moon Signs I could not stop laughing. It was really funny. Especially when I started reading about mine, Moon in Pisces and there is nothing I can say that I don't agree with.

I recently meet a guy with a Moon in Aries, so I feel that bit of information will be helpful.

My God how long did it take you to type that?

Your skills are much appreciated.

Thanks Proxi.....in a way I too see both aspects of Libra and the 4th house (being Moon in Cancer) attributes in myself.

For the Libra in me, I sometimes find myself trying to curry favor with individuals and keep the peace. Especially in group situations when there are so many differences of opinions. Although I consider myself somewhat decisive, there are moments when I just need to think it through.....

As for the Cancer or the 4th house aspect, this probably comes out only 5% in a year. Since I have a Cap rising, I find it hard for people to really understand how I am feeling. Don't consider myself mushy and expressive, esp PDA!!!! Yuck!!! But really, home and family have a high stance in my book.....Good feedback.

Keep it coming.
