Yes, I know. I was a part of that crowd, then I moved up to Portland and lived on my own, made my own way. After that, I changed as a person and even though I seem to fit into almost every crowd, I just can't stand superficial people. By the time I went to my reunion, I was already the Diagnostic Lab Manager in charge of the Veterinary Resources labs. So, I was into my career and seeing these people act like bumbling idiots just repulsed me. I was also married to another science dude that was / is the commander of forensic service for a large police department. To me, what mattered was making a difference, not what color my newest BMW had to be or if I wanted to opt for a D cup versus the C. LOL... What was more intriguing was having some of my friends say "Damn you look younger now than you did back then" I had one person ask me if I had any plastic surgery done or had a "boob" job. LOL... I would never do that and I thank my Virgo Ascendent for keeping me young looking. That and I think when you are a happy and caring person, the hard knocks in life are not apt to age you as harshly as with unhappy people.  Gotta run... LOL...funny thing, this weekened, I got a little too happy...some guy asked me if I had a boob job because they were so perky. I should have punched him, but I think he just wanted to cop a feel.

The mental image of a dude saying this to you at a bar popped into my head, just makes me smile  "I changed as a person and even though I seem to fit into almost every crowd, I just can't stand superficial people" - I dunno if it's my Pisces part or what, but I change my personality a lot, to each & every person I'm around... to best suite communication between us. That way they feel comfortable around me and I can relate to them... Essentially, I adapt (change) my personality to make a "connection" with each & every single person in my life. It's actually quite easy when one-on-one with someone.
I wonder though, some could consider this being two-faced...? Are you the same everytime people come to you for advice/to listen? I dunno...  IP: Logged |

Hi Lost Leo, I wonder, if in my case, it can be attributed to the dual nature of Sagittarius or my Mars in Pisces. At any rate, I have been told that I am easy to talk to because I look at everyone the same. I love to hear about people and where they came from. I also adapt easy to their personality to better understand them. Kind of like walking in their shoes. BUT, you have to be careful, because at times, you can take on their negativity and problem.  I don't think it is being two-faced unless you use one group to fight against the other. If you have compassion and learn to identify, then you are fine, but to use it to cause hurt is wrong. I also find that it lends to the ability to get to the truth of the matter and I end up with some pretty valuable information. So, you liked that mental image. LOL.... Hmmm, it also makes me wonder if they called me Perky in highschool and college because of reasons not belonging to my personality????? LL, do you find that people confide in you often? I would think that you have a certain magnetism that disarms people right away. When I read up on the Leo Sun / Scorp moon for BlueRoamer, I looked at your's too. It pointed to the Leo / Pisces combination as being guarded, but very warm and sensual. That at time the expectations in love are so high and that although you are a bit guarded you can give yourself completely. A pretty special combination IP: Logged |

I asked him how he would feel if someone said that to his finacee (because he;s engaged), or his mother. He didn't seem to have much to say after that. Dunno if it's the Aqua humanitarian in me or the Leo moon that gets me so riled up at stupid comments like that. But Pid, I hear you about the duality thing and being able to talk to anyone. I think my Gem. rising helps me to do that. I tend to attract some strange characters. I know a few Sags, like you, who also have that easy-to-talk-to quality.

Thanks Oxy!!! Yeah, I think that you would be easy to talk to with the Gemini rising and also because you are an Aquarian. I'll bet you have some great stories. I actually enjoy meeting strange people because it makes things interesting and then I come back from my travels with a cool story. LOLIP: Logged |

You have Virgo asc too pid? Koolies! I didn't know that having a Virgo asc kept you looking young and "fresh" but that is one thing I will have to look forward to. People are always thinking my mom is 35 when the truth is, she will be 50, Oct. 26 (ouch, scorp!) I don't know her asc though coz the time isnt on her birth certificate, but I am thinking it is Pisces. Rock on to all my Virgo asc peeps! IP: Logged |

Dorkus (I love your name)Yep, Virgo Suns and Virgo Ascendents usually look older when they are young and then start to look younger as they age. It is very weird. I was married to a Virgo who looks at least 10 years younger than what he is. At 33 I still get carded in a lot of places and hit on by guys in their early 20's. IP: Logged |
