Greetings ALL!Thank you for all the great responses! You guys are helping more than you kNOW! moondust - You are right about the Cappies and sarcasm! About the vulnerability too, but darned if you'll get one to admit it! I personally appreciate a good 'dry' wit. When others don't 'get it', it's even funnier! anafaery - 10th house, huh? Hadn't even thought in that direction! Like you, I lean very strongly toward the 12th, but I don't want to make assumptions and overlook another important aspect. I completely 'see' the Saturn/Karma connection. I also wonder at Uranian influence, because of the sudden change? It is the surreal and Spiritual nature of the situation that puts it squarely in the realm of Neptune/Pisces/12th house in my mind. 'Course that could be my own Fishy prejudice! I also can't shake the thought that Pluto/Scorpio/8th house energy should be considered. Mainly, because of the "tearing down the old to make way for the new" concept. So...OK... would I be totally off base to look for outer planet aspects to the 12th house? Possibly conjunct the Ascendant, even widely, since a change of 'person'-ality is a huge factor in recognizing a walk-in? What do you guys think? I found a great article, by Nicolas Ngan at http://www.walk-ins.com/article/ngan.htm In it he states... quote: When a walk-in occurs it's at a predetermined time and location agreed upon with the first Soul to ensure the optimal astrol-ogical configuration is achieved.
This must mean there are indicators in a chart, right? Lunargirl - I strongly suspect that someone very close to me may have undergone this 'change'! While most consider this a positive, transcendant experience, my research turned up several articles that say this is not ALWAYS the case. Therein lies my concern. Apparently, there can be an 'exchange' that involves a 'negative' Soul. An article in Zeta-talk calls them Service-to-Self Souls. Other reading I've done says that while the walk-in may not be inherently negative, they may not have a good 'fit' with the new body and will experience (or cause) problems. In this case, that is an understatement! Heidi - You might enjoy checking this out: http://www.healpastlives.com/future/rule/ruwalkin.htm Thanks everybody! All input is appreciated, even if you think this is all just 'too nutty'!

hi loony i only have but a moment... but once this week is over and i have more time i would love to explore this with you in depth. there are lots of factors. for instance, what house does capricorn rule in the chart? what planet rules the 12, 10, and 8th? the reason i dismissed the 8th almost out of hand was because it wouldnt really matter, i feel the 8th is how we *see* 8th house matters, and not necessarily what matters the house rules will be given to us. i was thinking about it and well, if scorpio ruled the 11th, or pluto was posited there, that would make more sense because it could narrow down the field of view of where a walk in might be related to, and in the case of the 11th house, that would mean a friend. thats just a very general example and would have to be examined fully with the whole chart. drat me having no time right now to fully explain what i mean... do you see what i am getting at though? i mean there might be indicators with the 8th house for sure... but i like to follow all paths a little bit to see which one shows the way. it just really boils down to seeing the whole chart. thats an intricate question that you have asked and with astrology, there should be many indicators. i still fully believe its a 12th house issue. heck the 12th house is definitely where things like this are indicated, in some form or another, even if its empty. anyway husband is a little annoyed that im online typing away when we have so many things to do so ill be back soon as i can when i have time to flesh out my theories. take care! ~ana ps yes aspects to the asc arent a bad place to look either. what house system do you use? i have found in cases like this where it is something beyond the normal realm of human experience that meridian seems to get deeper into a chart. some house positions change, and the equatorial asc adds a *lot* of perspective. using placidus my chart is pretty accurate, for things on the surface, wysiwyg. meridian gave me a deeper view. with meridian my formerly empty 12th house has mars... and that alone is enough for me to value its worth. if you try meridian keep in mind that the first house cusp is how others would see the subject, and the asc is how the subject would see themselves. Greetings Ana!You are so right that there are many ways to look at this! That's the main reason I feel so bewildered. I hate to admit it but... I am rather a dinosaur when it comes to Astrology. I still *gasp* cast my charts by hand! I normally use the Equal house system. It works for me. I use Placidus sometimes to give me a different point of view. I have never used the Meridian system so it will be interesting to see what shows up there! I'll have to go to an online site for that chart. This person's chart with Equal house has Taurus on the cusp of the 12th, no planets in it but the North Node is there conjunct (4 deg) the Asc. Placidus gives them a long 12th house with Aries on the cusp and Taurus intercepted. Still no placements, other than North Node. That is all Natal. I'm still looking at progressions and transits. I'm going now to pull up this chart with Meridian. Thanks for the great suggestions! I look forward to more discussion on this! ------------------ "If immortality be untrue, it matters little whether anything else be true or not." - Buckle IP: Logged | |
