Again what the deal is with GemAries's Scorp is that he's in Miami, Miami is the king of playboys, there are ten girls to every guy, and every girl is drop dead gorgeous and young. Men can't even walk down the street without knocking themselves, too much competition for attention.
I once watched a man walk into a metal pole and do serious damage watching a model walk across the street in Miami Beach, it's all models.With all that bare skin, no man can really pay much attention to anything but the skin around him, that's the only draw to the area. Yeah, whatever. I have had less than 10 lovers. Give me a break. Besides, I do think of my body as a temple, it's just not open for services for everyone. LOLMaybe I am repressed too.LOL...no really, I just have to really LIKE the person and feel like they can be my best friend before I get turned on or really into them. NW, you've never been but it's hard for a man when the women have no control, everywhere you go women are looking for me so it's too much competition for any conservative woman. Miami is a playground for the rich and famous,and the young and sexually active. There's not much else going on. Plus all the women are wannabe stars, models, hanger-ons who will do anything to get ahead, it's worse than Los Angeles.That's the way it is.
It has different effects on different men of course, but most choose to stay there for that reason, not for the weather. It sends some people in the opposite direction and they want to clean it up. I tend to be more like that just because I can't compete with a bunch of half naked people, I'm way too curvy to be the super thin type, and I can't compete at yacht parties with women wearing nothing but whipped cream. It's okay, I met my hubby down there but not down south, in West Palm and we both left as soon as I said out of here. I didn't want to live there and I didn't want to lose him. There is my natural insecurity coming out. He didn't argue so he must have felt the same way. Still he is unique and very hard working, wise for his age with Saturn in Capricorn as a singleton. I do think some men have control, just not young men in Miami Beach who arrive to party. It's not a kind of place with any culture of any kind and pretty much every illegal activity is allowed. I know that you NW with your Cancer moon would have a few drinks and watch everyone else acting like a fool. Lost Leo I like your shrine idea very much, so where do you get these ideas? I often think it's the location that matters, getting your lover to a new location lets you find out so much more about him or her. A mini vacation says so much. The senses are so confined by all the usual activity, it's good to see a person in a new habitat for a while. I like candles but they are too hazardous, with my Sag rising I knock things over too much. I prefer soft music, lots of flowers and matching silk robes at a spa resort, or a chalet in the mountains. I like to get him a few gourmet beers and some snacks (he's a libra) and take him out for another drink on the roof because there has to be a view somewhere. Then I offer him more to drink until basically he is all mine..then I order breakfast.

Lost Leo,Natasha All the things you mentioned not to do to a Scorp I did. I was so used to my Virgo guy that I thought that this guy(scorp) would be the same. This all happened before I read Linda G's books ect.... When I introduced him to my family as my boyfriend he hadn't made it clear that we were together. I took it upon myself to take the lead and introduce him like this. After that I asked him if that was ok and he said that he didnt have a problem with it. Later on I found out he did. I had sex with him Jan 2003, I met him December 2002 for 5 minutes, he couldn't control it and came very fast SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FAST. The sad thing is that I don't even remember the act. In feb, March, Arpril, May, June, July, Aug, and now Sept. No sex. Why? I wanted a deeper commiment. So after we had sex(once) he would come over and just hang out and hold me while we slept with our clothes on. Weird?
Yes, the first night we went out he mastebated on my leg while kissing me. He told me that he loves to masterbate and that he does it 4 times a day. But I found it cute. I don't want to have too many sexual partners. I'm at 2 now and that's enough. My next realtionship with a MAN I'll know better....... I was very Gulible... He took my kindness as a weakness......... GemAries, You really do want people to see you as trashy don't you? At 26 you really should learn to be more mature and responsible for how you act and speak. I cannot believe a woman with half a wit would act like you and you have been the most disgusting person I have every encountered on this forum. I find you to be extremely offensive and thank God I will never have the unpleasurable experience of sitting in the same room as you. GemAries, there are people on the board who are under 18 so it's a good idea not to bring up the details so much. It's not that we are judging but there are even 15 year olds who read the board for astrology advice. You don't want those people to be scared off do you? I hope that you do find what you want, but you have to look for what you need first and be happy with it. It takes a while to find out if we are even looking for love. You have to ask yourself, is this about love? Do I even want to be loved?

WoW! This got quite heated while I was away.
Interesting dynamics. I am a bit of a dirty too, so I guess I could clean it up myself...I will probably not be able to stop completely, so I'll just try to use flowery words instead. Sorry if I have been offensive, the last thing I want to do here is offend/ostrasize people. But I guess if my name hasn't been mentioned, I can assume I'm flying under the virgo radar.
The whole LOL thing is getting a tad too contrite. I use it as a quick means to show some funny emotion, as it's hard to do it any other way here.....but if it is used too much, it sounds like a child, or an immature adult, or a psycho clucking chicken. Typically, from my knowledge, scorps get along with the fellow water signs, but depending on the gender/scorp. I might find Cancer a bit too clingy. Pisces may be too prone to making up their own truths for scorps sensibilities. Virgo is said to be loyal and centred enough for scorp. But I might also find their stinginess/perfectionistic tendancies too much. I mean, these are very typical, and generalized. It depends on so much.
I find alot of sexual excitement between fire/water. Very stimulating connections.
Air I have amazing conversations with.
Water I feel an intrinsic connection to.
Earth are stable and seem to understand alot of the things I feel/say.

Thanks, pixelpixie and Lost Leo. Most scorpios I know are already into astrology by the time they're mature enough to start developing their personality/self and so it seems they try to embody their sign/s. They TRY to act like a scorpio. I know that sounds odd and I know I'm generalizing,but that's just what it seems like.
