In any case, I am not going to explain my reasoning again, especially not to you. No one ganged up on GemAries. I made my comments, she made hers back to me. This is a forum and we have every right to voice on opinions on matters.

Yes, I may have come out more that puritan in my views, and it was pointed out to me. That's fine, but I didn't see anyone gang up on her, but I did read where people gave advice.

I didn't respond to her little nasty attacks on me because it's not worth my time or effort.

Gem/Aries, admittedly, you were a bit too "gutter mouth" in your posts, but you were just expressing yourself in the same way most of us would talk to a close friend. Unpretentious, maybe feeling "Why bother with the flowery euphemisms, who has time for that? We're all grown ups here." (not necessarily true, but Aries isn't exactly famous for forethought, or social nice-ities)

Pidaua, you're not the only one who was taken aback by the graphic nature of her language, but you circumflexed in your reaction to it. I think the whole direction that the thread was taking was getting on your nerves, but everyone who posted was contributing to that. You were being the thread traffic cop, but you focused on Gem/Aries because she seemed to be the more visable offender. You were making an example of her. I think you made us ALL feel guilty.

Moral of the story....well there's two...

1. If you don't be careful to word your posts in a non-offensive way, you're opening yourself up to possible critisism. The moral police are everywhere. (Believe me, we DO need them in the world, and we all play that role from time to time, some more than others.)

2. If your going to dish out critisism in heavy doses, you had better be prepared to take it just as easily.

I would tend to agree with you, but the sex talk didn't bother me. I can chose to ignore lots of things, it is just when certain things get carried to an extreme.

I know we all post personal things on here, mostly searching for help. I have done that in many cases and even posted some questions about my ex that was almost non-sexual. I did that because I have a valid worry and was seeking help. In the same respect, I never wanted to hurt his feelings and I do try to write my posts about other people while keeping their feelings in mind.

If I came onto a board and saw something about my sex life on there, written by someone else, it would bother me. I took offense, maybe wrongly so, about not just the vulgarity of the wording, but I wondered "Man, how would I feel if I was a man and a woman that says she loves me just posted that I have no control...that I basically the 5 minute wonder man". Or what about seeing how many times he plays with himself listed on here. Now, maybe I am trying to put myself too much into another shoes.

If she was writing about a Sag...well, I can see a sag man laughing while reading it, maybe even a Gemini or Aquarius kind of passing it off. But a Scorp is very careful to keep their private lives private. Why do you think I never posted a picture of my sister-in-law. I know that she would hate that, now my bro...hell he LOVES it!

Some of what Lost Leo wrote made me blush, but I didn't get offended, and Bissie was right in what I wrote about my sexual experiences on the "Lover thread" . I let Mr. Leo know what I write about him, he loves it because for the most part I am singing his praises. The others will never know about this, well, with the exception of the Virgo, but I had a valid question about it.

Sorry this is so long, I just wanted to show where I was coming from and why I took offense.
