I love what it said about 8th house suns. I'm truly an armchair psychologist. When I tell someone off, I sound like a friggen shrink! I'm proud to share my sun/house placement with the likes of Mr. Cayce because I worship the man. I'd like to read more about him, but I don't think there IS any more books about him that I haven't read. I've read 3 different books about him, all part of a hard cover series that my Aqua freind's Cappy older brother had laying around for years. Wouldn't it be so amazing to have known a man like that?!

I mean a man like Cayce, not my friend's Cappy brother, although he's good man too. Just had to clarify that.

Wow, thanks Node for dragging this along, and you too proxieme for posting all this info four years ago! lol. Wow this is awesome! For some reason though, I don't quite feel like I ever relate to any virgo moon descriptions; I think people always exaggerate the OCD madness with cleanliness...and it's funny because although I'm a leo rising natally, I only resided at my birthplace for the first seven years and relocated to a second spot almost on the other side of the world and so...I've realized maybe that is why I appear so sour and serious to people, enfeebled, and doleful...yes, I think I actually identify with capricorn rising a bit more and with the scorpio midheaven, my relocation chart of twelve long years seems to explain quite a bit, I suppose, although I am a lot more attached to my natal chart.

I think the author went a little too dark in her Moon descriptions. She seems to have really taken to heart the idea that the Moon is our needy shadow. Edit: They're not too bad actually. I read the description for Cap Moon first; the author makes them sound like monsters.

quote:
"A real friend is someone who sticks by you even when you become successful."

So true!
The timing of this thread is spooky for me, b/c I've been going through something involving that quote, but even more so b/c I was planning on starting a thread tonight about the effect on the personality by the sun's house placement. Node & her bumping skills were too fast for me.

WOW, Proxieme, and people thought I did a lot of typing in the "Enchanted" thread! Thank you!!

That first house Sun is SO dead-on! Thank God that I finally learned that to:

    quote:

Act selfishly, use other people to build up your ego, and the house you have built comes tumbling down; all that is left is ashes, and yourself, and a sorry self at that.

    and...

    quote:

You may have had troubles with Daddy - look yourself in the mirror and remind yourself that you can be better than him.

My chart readings always put my moon in the 4th but interpret it in the 5th. Both that you typed up fit. Add more confusion with it being in Pisces and that has me going in all four directions at once! No wonder I'm confused!

    Scorp Asc:

    quote:

Often there is a square jaw, quiet demeanor, and eyes that bore right through you. Theirs is a tough, jutting-out stance that says, "Don't mess with me." They take a while to get to trust you, and they puff up like adders if threatened. I'll bet you were so busy being frightened of them that you didn't notice how gaurded and paranoid they were!

I don't fit the cap moon description at all, but the sun and rising sign description are quite accurate.
