Is it me? or are cancer men the hardest to seduce in the zodiac?
If anyone has any tips on how to win a crab's affections I would be grateful if you posted them here

Bring him baked goods (must be homemade)...show cleavage (they are the consummate "Boob Men")...be concerned about his mood "You sound like something is bothering you. What's wrong?", and be genuine, not too forceful, and caring...Ask him about his family, especially his mom. You need to know how he feels about his mom, because that will tell you how he feels about ALL women. (this is true of all men, but with Cancer it's amplified 10 times). If he has hidden hatred or resentment toward his mother, I wouldn't bother. He'll be ugly toward you. If he thinks his mother is Mary Magdeline...be prepared to worship her as well, and change the way you make banana bread, so that it tastes just like hers. (of course her's will still be better)...And be prepared to have children. Even if you don't want children...don't admit that to him, unless you just want to be his "squeeze" and never his wife. But, if you truly don't want children, you may not be cut out for the Cancer man, because he thrives on his family, and to deprive him of that joy in life would be truly a shame.

AriesRocks,
My opinion is that you should do what Lioneye said and also be flirty, but not overly aggressive.Be sweet, with a little bit of sexy. Bring up intellegent topics of conversation on things like the mars mission or the war in Iraq. Talk about music, fav. bands, esp. old ones that changed music history and most important be witty and funny. It worked for me.Good luck.

I asked my male cancer sun, cancer asc., cappy moon friend and he agreed with everything said. Especially the parts about homemade food (and he added anything you make at home and bring to him is great including art) and everything autumnwind said. He says whatever you do, do not be overly aggressive (in appreciation for the cancerian sideways approach to life). When flirting, dont push, when inquiring about whats with the moodiness, dont push, you get the idea.

Let me tell ya - THE ABSOLUTE BEST lover that I have ever had was that shy looking Cancer guy. Of course we didn't get along outside the bedroom (He was too moody for me)but every time I hear of a Cancer I think somebody is going to get very lucky

CANCER

The Art of the Approach: Cancers need to feel emotionally secure before crawling out of their shells, so what works best is some good old-fashioned courtship. Guys: Dust off that pedestal and unfurl the red carpet. Gals: Do the same. Both female and male Crabs enjoy a mate who takes the lead in planning an evening of romance. In fact, they're usually waiting patiently for such an occasion to arise.

Seduction Mantra: Trust leads to lust.

You Know It's Working When: A captivated Cancer will develop a serene inner glow: Look for a radiant smile, healthy appetite, conversation and eye contact galore. When you two truly get close, you may also notice the telltale heart on his or her sleeve.

I had an expereince with a cancer man and it was incredibly bad. We did end up in bed very quickly, but he constantly told me I was strange, that I didn't talk enough, that I was rude etc. He was also completely uninterested in imporving the relationship, he claimed that when you fall in love you fall in love instantly or not at all. And since we were not in love we might as well call it quits. I'm into another cancer man now and I don't want it to end up the same way.

Thanks for your advice, is there anything else Ishould think off?

Talk about a purchase - any old thing will do - and mention how much money you saved. You will be rewarded by a nod (or several) of agreement! Cancerians appreciate thrift, in any shape or form. (Works wonders with my mother-in-law!)
They can get a bit vicious and hurtful at times; I know a Libran with a Cancerian partner and, though my Aqua other half does his best to embarrass me in public, said Cancer is lots worse with said Libran. Scorpio men get a bad press, but I actually think they're INFINITELY easier to deal with than Cancers. I liked a Cancer man too, once, and they do need someone who is very strong in themselves, whose self-confidence isn't likely to be injured by crabby remarks. (Perhaps a "mother" figure???)

Why do they say such means things?
And how do you keep from getting hurt by those remarks?

Because they feel threatened V-E-R-Y easily. Whenever someone's objectives don't seem to support THEIR objectives, they retreat and begin pinching.

You don't. Somtimes you just can't help it. You either agree to disagree with him gracefully, or you tell him to go *bleep* himself and move on. *shrug*

Remember, Cancer is one of your squares, so you'll find them more grating on the nerves than other folks might.

I have met a lot of Cancerians in the past year, and all the males love good food!!! Especially, home-cooked meals.

They do like breasts, especially augmentations, if you don't want one consider one because he will look elsewhere. Cancer rules the breasts and this goes for Cancer ascendant men too. They like sweet, possibly plump women who are eager to show cleaveage.

Don't talk too much or get too intellectual. Being an Aries I don't think it will work for you, but maybe a Cancer Sun with no other planets in Cancer? Cancer Ascendant is the hardest for me in terms of idealizing women.

I have Venus in Aries and I agree I get told that I talk too much, and that I'm strange. Cancerian men like the status quo-traditional roles, wife at home, that kind of thing.

Don't bring up your new business, or real estate venture, he's not interested.

Most Cancer ruled men like nurturing partners who discuss their insecurities. And you must like to eat a lot or cook.

But yeah they can be ultra sexy and I wouldn't ignore a sexy Cancer male. They have beautiful eyes, and they know how to work them, and you. I like being worked that way:> Great dressers usually, and very innovative in bed, they will try anything to please as long as it's reciprocal.

I do like the Cancer sun but prefer Mercury and Venus in other signs, sometimes I like Mercury and Venus conjunct in Cancer but only with Gemini Suns and there has to be a lot of earth.

My oldest friend is a Cancer with Leo Mercury and Venus in Virgo. And my Gemini friend has Venus and Mercury in Cancer.
But our lifestyles are too different.

Woah, Natasha,

I thought that Cancer men only really liked the real kinds of breasts, and not the fake variety of them.

Also, I believed that they preferred it if their mates wore less provocative clothing too.

I only know Cancer women, and not Cancer men, so I am only going on stuff I've read on this board and in other places before anyways though.

Well, not that I am an expert, but my man is a fourth house Sun (same as myself) and as far as the boobage goes, he is really more of an ass man. Not that I am a J-lo..... or even a Dolly Parton for that matter, but I have an ample tushy.... full. He definately LIKES breasts.. but when I was nursing, he wasn't like all over me or anything, even though they were HUGE!!!! ( Of course, they were full of milk too.....) But even after, when I stopped and they deflated, he was neither here nor there about them... Now they are back to normal.. about a handful, and the winter storage has made them even more full..... come to think of it, he does lavish more attention on them now......
HHhhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmm.........
You may be on to something there.... but still, he'd grab my ass (constantly) a lot more than he'd grab my girls. Actually, people who watched our wedding reception video had to laugh, as he was always touching my bum..... he still does, if I am in his vicinity...
He is an Aries, by the way....Gemini Mars, Pisces Venus..
