There are too many variable factors in life that creates violence in humans... usually childhood abuse. I love Scorps and Saggies for their honesty. My mother is a voilent Scorp, but this has nothing to do with her Sun Sign. It has everything to do with her being raised by voilent parents (Virgo and Cappy). My husband (Taurus) in the midst of clinical depression was capable of being violent toward me... again... raised by violent parents (Gem and Cappy). Stereotyping is an ignorant and closed-minded game. From my experience with the different Sun signs and personality types... the entire chart must be taken into consideration. The Sun sign is just the easiest to figure out... not the most prominent of all astrological factors. IP: Logged
26taurus unregistered	posted June 21, 2004 01:32 PM I agree with what's been said here. You can't determine if someone is violent just by their Sun sign. But I do remember reading something once about Taurus' getting physically violent if pushed hard enough. Because this sign is ruled by the senses. Their anger is prone to turn into physical violence more often than other signs. I, being a Taurus would say this is true. But, our notorious temper only erupts when pushed very far. I think Scorpio or maybe Aquarius can be more verbally abusive if they choose to. I've also known Aries to be violent. IP: Logged

Are they all stereotyping? Is it stereotyping to say "Aries tend to be hard headed?" Maybe the question could be rephrased to say "What sign can have a tendancy to be more aggressive (or violent) than others under the right circumstances." But I don't think that would fit in the subject line. I am not a violent person and I am an Aries but I don't feel the need to take it personally if someone says Aries can sometimes resort to war-like behavior quicker than other signs. It should be obvious that a lot affects that statement -- like the rest of someone's chart, upbringing, personal issues, etc. There's no reason to take it personally unless it strikes a chord with U (Universal You.. not a particular person) for some reason. Archer? Where are you? What are your reasons for narrowing it down as you have? Have you taken all of these outside factors into consideration before narrowing it down to these three traits? Archer unregistered	posted June 22, 2004 08:31 AM well libra sparkle. i read linda's sun sign and had a general picture of these three signs ebing violent. i don't know why people take it so personally over here at linda land. its about the sign and not the individual having that sign. no individual is perfectly one sign. so there is no need to take it personally. besides i mentioned these three signs cause whenever pluto is in them global violence takes stage. I have known many geminis to simply smack you just for saying something they didn't like, they can be very immature in that respect. Libras are the most likely to stalk and torment, i think the fixed signs are the most likely to erupt in a fit of rage after being pushed a lot and attack you, but espcially taurus, and leo....aquarius and scorpio are more likely to blackmail you later!!!!!! I think under the right circumstances anyone can be violent. Mars Conjunct Venus in Aries - yet my Taurus Sun and Virgo Ascendant are able to rule most of my actions Seriously, Archer, I think its totally personal. My Sag is a well trained martial artist and almost killed someone once in self-defence. But that was the day he decided NEVER to let his temper get the best of him. Its been five years and he has never been even remotely violent or evern lost his temper. Amazing what a little practice and a lot of Self control can do! IP: Logged
