If I'm correct, this means you look at your 10th House Ruler, (the planet which rules your 10th House).

Ex: My 10th House has Scorpio - Planet ruling Scorpio is Pluto. Look at your Pluto in your chart, and note the House it is in. Then take that House and apply it to the following:::

"Results of the Lord of the 10th House in different Houses :::

The 10th Lord in House no.

1stHouse
The individual will be a hard worker and will make progress in life by perseverance. Will have his own business and will be financially independent.

2nd House
The individual will have a lot of luck and will gain wealth by his chosen profession. May inherit family business. This combination indicates success in food related business.

3rd House
The individual will get help from brothers to make advances in career. He will be a good speaker and will travel constantly regarding work

4th House
The individual will show mastery over a combination of subjects and will be highly fortunate. Will earn fame due to knowledge and altruistic deeds. May engage in agriculture, real estate, vehicles, immovable assets related business. May enter Politics.

5th House
Will be fortunate in speculation business and finance related activities. Pious and good life. Will set a high example of morals

6th House
May get involved in judiciary, hospitals or prisons. Not a good placement. Not much wealth will accrue from business. Will be successful in services. Own business not advisable.

7th House
The individual makes successful partnerships. Wealth accrues from wife. Abroad travel. Can be a diplomat and an envoy.

8th House
The individual will have many breaks in career. An aspect of Saturn may make an individual an undertaker or entrust him with the responsibility of cremating dead bodies. Aspects of Rahu and Ketu will make one involved in occult pursuits and spirituality.

9th House
The best combination for a spiritual career. The individual will be a scholar and people will come to seek such an individual's blessings. The individual will follow traditions and will be a very obedient son to the father

10th House
If strongly disposed the native will have a good career and will be respected by all

11th House
An excellent placement. Very wealthy, will be an industrialist and will employ many persons and will be kind to them. Will have an active social life and will possess powerful friends and companions.

12th House
The native will work in a far off or a remote location. Sorrow indicated to family and friends. Low paying career.

Pluto is my ruler of the 10th too.
I have my MC placed at 14' scorp. and Pluto is in my 8th. Makes sense that my astrologer said I have the chart of an "astrologer".
My moon is also in the 8th.
But the biggest reason he said this is because my natal Uranus is at 13' scorpio conj my MC. Uranus is the "astrologers planet".
Ive been told the planet at the highest point in your chart will have a significant amount of importance in your life.
I'm very Uranian, with Aqua. intercepted in the 1st also.
With Uran. conj. my MC, I have had a hard time keeping jobs, or been very unhappy in the ones Ive had. I must eventually work for myself to be happy. Ive always known this.
With Uran. also opposing my IC, it has made for unsettled home conditions my whole life. Ive moved more than anyone I know.

just some observations.

26Taurus -

That's so funny because everything you just said is me too!! Can you beat 34 times?

I too have trouble with work and career, and have to work for myself. And if you've read my past postings, you'll know I totally have a jinxed 4th House, and so, an unsettled home life, which kills someone with a Cancer Moon and four planets in the 4th.

Right on ...

Peri -

I'm not familiar with the way you wrote all those aspects and things, and the same with the super detailed stuff 26Taurus wrote, but I try my best to study it and try to understand. Peri, could you sort of explain what you were trying to say? Thanks.

Hi Peri - my twin chart friend.

How has Uranus conj. your MC effected your life, Peri?
What is your Sun and Moon sign? Do you find yourself feeling very "Aquarian"? I do.

Wow another twin!!!! TRIPLETS!!
Astroj you too?
34 times??? You win!

What are the aspects and planets involved in your chart that make this so?

Yes, that would be VERY HARD on a cancer moon. And for me too, as my sun is in the 4th. Sun - Life energy.

Besides being an astrologer - what do you do for a living? If you don't mind telling.

While reading your post I was reminded of something I read about Cancer's or people with strong Canc in their chart.
It was along the lines of Cancers moving alot. They carry their home on their back. You know? - thier home is their shell.
Some are very much homebodies others move around ALOT.

Thoughts?

.... yup ...

... gypsy girl ...

I don't have a regular job, but I'm always working ...

Basically, I'm a writer, love doing research, love metaphysics, proficient Web artist - among many others - jack of all trades.

I'm quite monastic in my approach of life. Just enjoying being at one with the rhythm of the universe. Really meditating on it, honing in on it. And I'm good in bed.

HA! HA!

Do athiests ever scream "Oh God!" ???

Ooohkay..I will try this again - Damn Computer

My 10th house is ruled by Gemini / Mercury - which is found in my 4th house:

4th House
The individual will show mastery over a combination of subjects and will be highly fortunate. Will earn fame due to knowledge and altruistic deeds. May engage in agriculture, real estate, vehicles, immovable assets related business. May enter Politics.

Sounds good for me...but not so good for Mr. Taurus:

His 10th house is ruled by Aquarius / Uranus 6th house:

6th House
May get involved in judiciary, hospitals or prisons. Not a good placement. Not much wealth will accrue from business. Will be successful in services. Own business not advisable.

Hmmm, maybe he is right to be in the military and then onto Law Enforcement

~Pidaua -

LOL..Here's a thought....wouldn't it be freaky if I BECAME a major politician? I can just hear the gasps now from many of the peeps on this board hee hee

Just a suggestion - Those interpretations seem to be Vedic.
That means you should do your Vedic/sidereal chart, not the Tropical one.
Also, Vedic astro doesn't take PL UR and Ne into account.

Really? Vedic doesn't? Is it because they are generational? I have learned alot about myself and my peers through learning of those planets. The aspects they make within ours and my own charts.

My MC is Aries, ruled by Mars. My Mars is in my fourth house, conjunct Uranus, amoung others, in Scorpio. Also, Sun in Scorpio. I am pretty impulsive, belying my Sun sign. I tend to take the unpopular route, and sound off about it proudly, but I do want to genuinely get along with people. I have a problem with other's authority. Most definately. I mean, I offer respect, and if someone is in an authoritative position, I respect that, but only if it is proven, I can't stand ego-centric, higher-than-thou people ( in myself either, I work on it, humbling is important, and I am aware of it) Respect is given automatically, but more than that,on a real level, it is earned.

My guess is the one on the cusp. The one that starts the house... unless it's like 28 degrees or something.....
Would I be on the right track, real astrologer peeps?

We know for sure his Asc is in Virgo, so.... so his 10th House, also known as the Medium Coeli, or Midheaven, or the MC, is in Gemini.

"MC in Gemini -

Communication is the key to a fulfilling career, but these people need a lot of variety and stimulation. Not overly ambitious. Typical career routes include sales, the media, writing, advertising, retailing, youth work, the hotel industry, interpreting/translation, teaching."

AND

"Gemini ruling the tenth house -

Indicates the likelihood that you're an individual who want your thoughts and ideas conveyed to the public. Even if you don't necessarily seek the spotlight, as a Gemini Midheaven, you want a public forum in which to communicate your thoughts or put your ideas into public practice. You may do this, for example, by writing speeches for others or becoming a city planner and engineer. You enjoy carrying on mental pursuits in some public place, or in a public manner, like chess matches in a park or writing letters to the editors of newspapers. A tenth house Gemini influence is also an indication of those who have more than one career, or that there is something of a dual-natured quality connected with what you do. The negative potential includes individuals who have difficulty communicating with their father and other authority figures, or difficulty expressing themselves in public."
