What sthenri had to say is interesting.. about the creative side of mars in cancer.. my boy has this placement, and he is currently in the middle of directing a play and a film.. and is aso writing a play, to add to the collection of others he has done. Oh, and i think he's doing all this at once because he's a Leo, big appetite, he always seems ot bite off more than he can chew =) I guess he's lucky he has some supportive earth on his side to ease his stress..Titania Capricorn IP: Logged |

Hi, I'm a new member on this site and I'm calling myself Sgt. Pepper.I'd just like to say that it would be impossible to determine who would win between a Mars in Scorpio and a Mars in Cancer. The Sun Sign plays a large factor in competitive areas, and the ascendent. Mars mainly rules speech and the way in which we express ourselves. It is a small influence. Of course, generally, the Mars in Scorpio would win...but it's a tiny probability. The horoscope, in particular the Sun Sign, should be taken into consideration as well. IP: Logged |

Must... restrain... self... from pointing out this is in fun and we all generally know our astrology and that yes indeed, Mars would be a factor, although of course not the only one and that just cuz your the new Sargeant doesn't mean you can come in and observe an attitude of pomposity.... but you are only trying to help and I am defensive.... as usual... and THIS Mars in Scorpio has a hard time keeping her foot out of her mouth when she should welcome with open arms someone with a different manner of speech than her own.....so I will just...stop... just... press....... the ...go-button and ....move on.....move on........Yes, I have a censor button, but I chose to show you how a Mars in Scorpio (and Libra Mercury) works*sigh* Hello, Sgt. Pepper! Great name! Welcome to the site!!!! What are your signs.. or would you prefer that we guessed? My Guess? Cardinal.. perhaps Libra? IP: Logged |

Nah ... I say ... Taurus or Sag'ishI'm willing to debate it, the good Libra that I am... I'm not quite sure why Mars is now of minor significance. It is the point on which my entire chart pivots. * Pixie is a Scorp w/ Merc in Libra. I'm a Libra w/ Merc in Scorp - take your pick * IP: Logged |

Regardless on any Sun or Mars sign, this statement is a MAJOR undertstatement. IP: Logged |

I'm sorry for my reply - I've realised that I misread the original question. Pixelpixie must be tremendously proud of her Mars in Scorpio. But to Aen, why, would my statement (which you quoted) be an under-statement? As I've clearly understood, I thought that the planets simply sharpen our individual traits without erasing our basic Sun/Moon/Rising sign traits right? IP: Logged |

Hi, Sgt. Pepper,Your statement sounds much better now you've rephrased it. Sharpen? OK. But 'small influence' - I respectfully disagree. There are plenty of examples of people living out their peregrine planet in a manner that overshadows their Sun/Moon combo. And in my experience any planet conj. Asc. overshadows the sign influence. Just what I've seen.

Yes that is true, I have an odd mix, Neptune and Mars in the 1st, so I act like a Pisces/Aries sometimes rather than a practical Taurus. If I don't have both dreamy and active friends I tend to act out one side or the other. With a strong Pluto and Mars, I like to practice patience, to get through the day.Natasha Taurus IP: Logged |

To Astro Junkie.Alright, so Mars plays a large factor in one's chart. I made a mistake. I would never dare to debate with a Libra. I see you're also tremendously proud of your Mars sign. But it really, really is impossible to determine who would win between a Mars in Scorpio or a Mars in Cancer. You see, if the Mars in Cancer had, say, the Moon or the Sun in Scorpio - the Mars in Scorpio wouldn't necessarily win. IP: Logged |

Hmmmmmmmm....... I still think you are a Scorpio, but your Mercury is in Libra, St. Pepper. Maybe even am Aquarius with Mercury in Aquarius, come to think of it.. but I still feel that Scorpio pull.IP: Logged |

My mother is a double Scorp (Sun/Moon) with Mars and Neptune in Scorp. Her Ascendant is Sag.She is capable of being quite evil and vindictive. I posted in GU earlier today about how my mom is very proud of the fact that she is probably the biggest b@tch you'll ever meet. I don't want to think about what she's like in bed. Ew! IP: Logged |

Typically, no. She usually has an excellent work ethic ... bordering on workaholic. As of late she is breaking down emotionally little by little. Her sanity is now in question. She's also an alcoholic. She can't hold down a job anymore, and doesn't pay a single dime for child support for my 15 year old sister (nor did she pay for my brother who's now 18). They live with my (step) dad who lives on social security because he is losing his eyesight to a degenerative eye disease called Reninitis Pigmintosa. So, I guess she's turning into a bottom feeder I wish she could help herself. She hasSun Conjunct Moon (Scorp and Scorp) Moon Conjunct Neptune Moon Conjunct Mars Moon Trine Ascendant (Scorp and Sag) Mercury Conjunct Jupiter Mercury Square Pluto Jupiter Square Pluto Saturn Trine Pluto Sun Sextile Pluto Moon Sextile Pluto Mars Sextile Pluto Neptune Sextile Pluto Saturn Opposition Ascendant Sun Trine Ascendant Mars Trine Ascendant Neptune Trine Ascendant I think that's all of it. What do you think, AJ? Do the aspects explain the way she has become? Not sure what it's called, but all of her planets are between Leo and Cappy from the Second and Sixth House. I've seen other posts talking about this... can't remember what it was called. Bottom heavy, I guess Well... off to bed. Big day tomorrow, and I'm exhausted. IP: Logged |
