Last night was one of the first good night sleep I've had in a long time. I'm sleeping good tonight, and then basically wake up when the hurricane wakes me up... *Yawwwwwn*

I would have to concur with the kinky Virgo influence thing. However I have found that many air signs don't seem to like sex in general, because they can't shut off the thinking and just get into it/go with it; they seem hyper-aware of things like bodily fluids (sweat, etc), noises which are less than attractive (sweaty skin slapping together, etc), scents (sex smell), which gets in their way of letting go and enjoying it. I once dated an AQ that called sex, "an exchange of disgusting bodily fluids"...really romantic

Air Ascendants can feel detached from sex, but I can understand sometimes. I am in the middle. I do agree sex gets in the way of true understanding of a friend, at the same time it doesn't turn me off.

So why would you want to hang out with a guy who says he never makes love? Doesn't everyone have sex, where is the challenge in a statement like that. Is he that inexperienced? Not a very classy statement either. Could he even fulfill you on any level? I think that was his polite way of saying No.

Been there, too much contact no feeling,
Making Love is a Real Challenge,
So the first step is of course to eliminate unworthy participants, then proceed to cuddle with an open mind. Accept what happens. Then talk, talk, talk.

I won't even talk about sex with a man unless I intend to go there, someday.

Way to take the fun out of it. I'm air sun with Libra rising and I've felt detached as well, but not for those reasons. I too am hyperaware of those things, but I enjoy them and appreciate them as part of the experience. My detachment is more about being afraid to let go and be uninhibited, thinking too much about what I'm doing, if I'm doing okay, etc. I think it helps to find a person you're comfortable with and can laugh about those little things (embarrassing sounds, etc.) with you. If that fails, I'd suggest playing loud music.

Agree with natasha's reading, and also GN's observation that air creatures are more cerebral about it I guess (despite Scorpio stellium in 2nd house) lol. I still just think sex is something that moves love to the next level (like love being a prerequisite), otherwise the act becomes quite meaningless to me. By itself, yes, it seems like just...a body mingling fluid exchanging reproductive thingie to me, but only when with the *perfect* person in sexual terms can it mean anything more than that. For instance I find most 'sexual things' like toys and videos and porn to be disgusting...Ive never watched it before in my life either...once a friend tried to get me to watch porn. I got stuck at the part where the guy puts his foot on the bed and couldn't get over how ugly his foot was and how his nails were so yucky. Men's feet turn me off. All my previous bfs have had to wear closed toed shoes on dates with me. I donno maybe its coz ma own feet are purty.

Ok enough randomness. I think kink is gross and yes my ex Virgo hubby was way kinky and weird to me, (Virgo/ Sag), maybe the mutable thing.

Sex is 'fun' rarely, and only with the right person (for me). Overdose, and it becomes a physical pleasure taken to the limit, like gluttony.
