... get your mind out of the gutter, and what I mean is, do all guys like big things, like the "big expensive toys"?Some people like getting small gifts. If it's small and personal, it's so sweet to me. I couldn't wear a diamond unless it's marriage. IP: Logged |

See, I've never fully gotten along with Leo guys. They would want to buy you a big new car and then I'd feel like I'd have to start playing a part in a soap opera. Like if a lover picked a bouquet of wild flowers on their way to see me, it's the sweetest thing to me. ------------------ ... it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness IP: Logged |

I know i've said this before, but I hate getting gifts as part of courting. I prefer getting gifts when someone has gotten to know me and knows my likes and dislikes. But I never am very keen on gifts that are intended to impress or get you to like a guy. I just hate being manipulated, and I see such gifts as just that.Spontaneous gifts are nice, those kind of "I saw this and thought of you" gifts - those I like. Nothing that's loaded with "oh, she'll loooove me for this" motivation, y'know? IP: Logged |

Yes, I'm afraid I've been courted by some who still maintained that whole overture. It's always terrified me. I just always thought it was something I learned about money, that it CAN be placing an obligation on you or the other person. And like I said, I can be completely indifferent to money. So it's like, you want to give me $1,000 to spend the night with you? You can't afford me.IP: Logged |

I'm gonna say Taurus. My dad is a Taurus, definately a bull and a bully at times. My mom told me once that his motto when they dated was, "Whoever dies with the most toys wins." I can see why she broke up with him lol
