Topic: a "first meeting" chart?!?

Hello all wonderful knowflakes!
I came across this web site that was explaining "first meeting" charts...saying doing a chart of the first meeting is very important..and since they don't know the exact time two people meet they go by what the phase of the moon is at the time.
Has anyone else ever heard of these charts or know how to do them???
I'd never heard of them before, so I'm very curious if they are accurate/valid.
If anybody has more info or would like to give their opinion on the subject, I'd love to hear it.

My guess would be that just like people draw up charts for major world events, which aren't personal charts, it can be done for a first meeting. I mean, at any given time we're all being influenced by the current "astrological weather". I think it's a really interesting idea and I'm going to look into it. We were talking about that a few months ago, and we found some really cool "coincidences". So you can go to www.astro.com and do it like a transit, and set the "current date" to date you met.Or You can make a file for the day you met on astro.com and even do a Composite chart, to see how you felt with your relationship with him the day you met. We found lot's of Moon's, Venus' or North Nodes conjuncting the other person's on that day, as far as just that experiment goes. IP: Logged |

Thanks astro junkie! have you had experience doing those charts before? what are some of the things you look for when doing a chart like that (besides conjunctions)?? I'd love to talk/know more about it.hi whiterabbit and eightdegrees!

I don't really do charts, I just started paying attention to it, and could apply it to a couple of real life situations. Other than what we said on that other thread, or just asking everyone to do the same and see if they have any of the above aspects I mentioned...IP: Logged |

Would the First Meeting Chart or the Composite Chart be more helpful regarding how the transiting planets affect the relationship? ...And if the Composite Chart, then which one: The Midpoint or the Davidson Chart? There's too darn many relationship charts to analyze (And I'm a Virgo who is supposed to love this sort of thing...go figure ;P) and I'm sooo confused. lol IP: Logged |

if you really want to know an outcome do a tarot card reading and be as specefic as possible use the persons name or buisness name and ask outcome of experience and specifically state your intentions for the meeting you want to have with said person will this be profitable is he a good boss and if while thinking about your question you remember that the law of 10 fold and personal gain are in effect and this question is for your protection /future safety /security you should get or receive the anser you need but not nessary want the anser helps you in the long run try this track anser from question and be amazed by resultsIP: Logged |

Magi Astrology really loves to use the 'first meeting' chart aspects...your natal vs. the date of that first connection with the person you are interested in knowing better.They will even discuss the aspects that show a fling vs. a soul-mate meeting. I forget which aspects they say are the soul-mate ones...take a look on their website to see if they have information regarding the aspects they believe are important. I just did an event chart for when my ex and I first met, yes I know exactly when, lol.  Wish my natal chart was this interesting, lol. Now, I have something new to learn about. Can't wait until I find out what all of those moon aspects meant.It seems we had a lot of venus in the chart. including the 11th house, mars and venus in taurus, that probably explains why we always had problems calling it quits. The 5th house in scorpio was pretty sexy. It's a shame there were no other aspects to the fifth house. Can anyone tell me which aspects I should be concentrating the most on? I hope this works, it is the neatest. I posted about this before, but God help me to find the thread...
My hubby and my frst date, compared to his chart is unbelieveable.
So much synchronicity and the degrees are uncanny.
I really had the feeling i would marry him, even though the thought of marriage up until then hadn't been top on my mind, and I'd only known him for weeks. BARELY.

Thank you for sharing your relationship chart Pixel pixie,I don't know how to read charts that well. But, it looks like your relationship started with many aspects in the sixth, tenth, and third house. Maybe you two will learn a lot from and bring out the best in each other? Certainly having venus in taurus is a blessing for the relationship. How is it having a virgo moon? does it balance out the aries sun and scorpio rising? IP: Logged |

i guess I wasn't clear.. this is our 'first date chart' Thanks for taking a look at it.. our composite is actually quite.. um... intense. ALL our personal planets are in Capricorn, and guess where Saturn is? Cancer. So All our personal planets are opposed by Mr. Discipline.. which , was pointed out to me, that Saturn and Capricorn are comfortable, so it is less intense.. but still, it is all our personal planets opposed by Saturn!! Good or bad, it is deep.
I will write with length these interesting things regarding our first date though.. it is so neat!!!!!!!

running-bull -Ever try meeting someone through work? Like at your job, or while you are doing your job? Seems also, like someone financially stable is essential to you. That's all that really popped out at me with a quick glance. ------------------

I probably read your post incorrectly. I can't wait to read more about how you're comparing the natal and first meeting charts.
Thanks Astro Junkie, but that isn't my natal chart. It's a chart from the first meeting of my ex and I. My natal chart is no where near that harmonious, lol.
