Oh- no worries!! You didn't come across as being offensive at all. You were right about the communication. I can articulate concepts verbally when I am not under too much pressure or when I remind myself to slow down. My problem really comes out when my mind is working a million times faster than my mouth.

The strong Uranian influence is a blessing and a curse. Concepts / Ideas come to me quickly. I used to work out chemical and mathmatical problems in my own way- derive the correct answer, but I was unable to explain the process. Sometimes it makes others very uneasy when I point something out in business or other matters.

My Mercury in Capricorn and the square created sometimes feels like I am about to win the race, but at the last minute I find out that I have to run through sludge (my mouth). LOL...

I don't stutter or anything like that- I do get tongue tied when I try to explain my emotions though. Like today, I was sitting with Mr. Taurus and I said "Oh, I can't wait to start working again and makes some money (because money represents freedom to me..to travel). " Then I said "Because money means more to me than you".

NOW...I MEANT...That money represents more to me than it does to Mr. Taurus. He likes "things" not money (that possessive thing). BUT..he thought I was saying that money meant more to me that he means to me. LOL..

SEE!!! Moon opposed Uranus squaring Mercury.

One thing that I have learned in my communications with others is to use analogies as much as possible. At times I can flip into total scientific nerd speak- then I notice the person is looking at me like I am a total nutbar. LOL..

Let's see, I have Mercury in Scorpio in the 6th, and my Moon in Cancer in the 3rd makes expressing my feelings important. For aspects to Mercury I have Conj Mars & Neptune.

I'm not doing much these days, and I'm actually TRYING to do less, trying to think and analyze less. Trying not to get into my own way. Trying to get more in touch with my feelings, which had been eluding me for many years cuz of some difficult experiences I had.

Feeling more and more like I just want to live on an island on the beach like a bum. Fall in love with someone simple and mellow. The more simple my life, the better. In this way I think my focus on my writing will become more clear, as I welcome and accept my right-brain in more.

AJ is right. Cancer people can be very sensitive (Cancer Sun and Moon) but they are also very understanding if you explain to them that you are having a hard time verbalizing your feelings or that you sometimes come across as being cold / sterile. My mom is a Cancer Sun with a Cancer moon. I have had to stop a conversation to ask her if I have hurt her feelings because I don't realize how analytical I am in a conversation.

AMEN to that!!! My mind is always going. I sometimes don't quite understand how Mr. Taurus (and others) can be so rooted in the here and now. What I would give to let my mind rest for a bit, you know like not think of anything. But that is why I meditate and use Yoga to settle my hyper self down.

On the other hand, I am not sure that I could live with only a "simple life". I think my fire would just simply turn to steam if I did that. I need a constant source of stress to keep me happy. You know that mulit-tasking, working on 3 or 4 things at the same time and still having more to do. That is where I excel, but then I have to take a few days off to recharge.

I forgot that you also have a singleton- Uranus in Leo. We both share that aspect, but mine is in Libra.
