I don't want to be a dark cloud but today is the worst birthday of my life.
My most cherished pet in my entire life died today. My dog Maverick. He was a male collie, like Lassie. He was 8 years old and he never seemed sick. It was a total shock.
I went into the back yard to look for him because it was raining and he was lying on his side barely breathing. He died soon after. Does anyone think the solar eclipse had anything to do with this? Help, I feel cursed and my heart is broken because i love that dog so much.

OK - I just wrote a thread about a Libra who was starting to feel some relief from these Transits.

Any other Libra's (or Moon's, Asc's) experiencing loss of pet or loved one?

LibrasagPisces - maybe because the Moon went into Scorpio today. But you're not the only one recently. I'm sort of disappointed with October his year, but I'm too tired to care ...

Talk about it all you want sweetie, sometimes a pet will have something wrong physically, which NEVER shows up until it's too late. You'd have to be getting them x-rayed every 4-6 months to have any clues. It's not your fault. Feel free to discuss.

Thanks Gloria,

I just can't beleive that today on my birthdays off all days I lose my beautiful Maverick. WHY???
I still can't beleive he's gone, I know it hasn't sunk really in yet. It has to be because of this eclipse. I was so looking foward to Oct and this month has been terrible. I feel like if I didn't have bad luck I wouldn't have any luck at all. I miss him so much, he was the one who knew me best and always knew when I didn't feel good and laid right by me. I don't understand why this is happening to me.

Allow yourself to cry and rage once you begin to feel like it. You know, it's not something that you are being punished for. You did not have a chance to say good-bye, so talk to him now. Think of him as being happy and whole, free to follow you everywhere now.

Oh hon...
I am so sad for you.. what a tragic thing to happen on a day that should be special.

I know it is comforting to look to astrological transits/God/Universe ~ things that are somewhat tangible, to put a name, and in turn a 'blame' on things that happen... Whatever the reason, find the comfort where you can.. although I am sure it won't happen for a while. I know....

Things like this happen. Certain times of year.. either Universally, or within your own environment, if you pay attention, there will be times when it seems things happen all at once.. all centred around the same time.. Sad things, tumultuous changes, happy, joyous occasions.... They travel in groups. Kinda' like the yin yang in your face.
I am sorry that this cycle has brought you such heartache. am terribly sorry for you. Maybe when the tears fade a little at the edges, in the next few years, as your birthday comes,it will bring with it special meaning.. a 'watcher' of sorts, a moment of pause, where you reminisce for more than the passing of years... more a passing of beautiful souls who have touched you.

Both you and Gloria have experienced loss recently, pets are so cherished, I have to say they are as important as children to some.

I believe there is a boundary between heaven and earth and it's fragile, animals and people can step over anytime, but it's not a difficult journey. Heaven must be wonderful, otherwise they wouldn't call it that. There has to be a heaven for our pets too.

Thanks to all for your kind words.
I remember one time I talked to one of those silly psychics and I mentioned my dog and she said he was my angel.
He always felt so close to me, I always loved dogs and they love me.........but me and Maverick had a special bond.
I originally got him because I read collies are very good with children. At the time my oldest son was 8 years old and he had a phobia of dogs. So we tried to get him around nice dogs, but he was still afraid.
So I found a breeder who had collie pups.
I picked Maverick and took him home and he immediately approached my son and was very gentle and cute as could be<like he knew what his mission was> my son was not afraid of him and got over his fear of dogs.
Maverick was very special to me and I will never find another dog like him.

Well, I honor Maverick's spirit as well, and that's where he came from so he'll remember. He's not in a strange place -
