I was at a wedding recently with my girlfriend and it reinstalled my belief in true love. The couple that was wed had been 2gether 4 six years, and they were living in two different continents mind you(and I thought long distance relationships were doomed). She is a beautiful Libran and he an Aries, they are so different but so well matched. The wedding brought back this memory that I had of this book I read a long long time ago on romantic compatibility. The illustrations were hilarious and the dialogue added to the humor.I can't remember the author nor the title because it was so long ago but I do remember bits and pieces.

Aries is best with Libra. Why you ask?Well the answer is quite simple. While the other is deciding what to wear the other has jumped in the car ready to go.Aries is a leader and Libra likes to blend in.They are both romantic and Libra will polish up Aries while Aries will make Libra more active and decisive. Romantic and all consuming!

Taurus is best with cancer. These two have little time for the rest of the world when they are together. The cancer draws strength from the taurus while the taurus gets pampered by cancer.Good food, great sex!

Gemini is best with aquarius. They'll discuss everything from politics to shoes and still keep each other interested. When it comes to lovemaking the hidden passion of aquarius will move gemini to a state of breathlessness.Astounding mental chemistry!

Leo is best with Sagittarius. They'll meet, talk and end up in bed on the same day.Leo is inspired by Sag's selfless attitude and Sag finds Leos confidence and outlook on life admirable.Wonderful marriage, smart kids!

Virgo is best with Pisces. They met on a "save the whales foundation ",pisces was probably handing out pamphlets while virgo was drawing up speeches and then BOOM .Pisces draws out Virgos ideal self and Pisces has found a place to retreat from the harsh world(in virgos arms). This couple can move mountains!

Scorpio is best with Capricorn.Loyalty is the emphasis here and both have it and both look for it in an ideal partner.Scorpios passions wont scare ambitious Cappy and neither will Cappys sometimes unscrupulous climb up the corporate ladder unnerve Scorpio."We all need to do what we have to to" is the motto in this relationship, and the sex...well lets leave that part between the two of them because these two never kiss and tell.Dangerous team!

Bonnie Parker was a Libra and Clyde Barrow was an Aries, I think if this combination is going to work the woman should be the Libra. Otherwise an Aries woman is too macha

There is no other choice but a Leo for this Sag. I think all female Sag hearts hold a special spot for those lovable Lions.

I have been thinking lately about the Leo-Sag combo. Unless they are both greatly evolved their relationships are full of power struggles and competition.

Libra and Aries are opposite signs. My best friend is a Libra, her sister is an Aries...they cant stand eachother!

As a leo myself, Leos and Sags are good for friendships I think. However in my experience, Leos and Geminis are GREAT together!

hmmm...

I am an Aries girl, and I can't stand the undecisiveness of a Libra. I don't mind them, but I don't think I would like to live with one of them. I want a guy to make me feel feminine, not macho! This includes him deciding where we will go and what we will do when we are together. Of course, when I want something, he will have to bow down and agree or all hell will break loose. My Sagittarian hubby knows me soooo well... He does most of the planning, then when I want to do something specific, I just tell him and he just agrees. hehe!

So, I would have to agree that it prob works best when the guy is the Aries and the woman being the Libran.

Even though it's not as obvious as the other aspects, I think that signs that Inconjunct/Quincunx each other can really connect. I have read that this is a Karmic connection between people. And as I am a Virgo Sun, I have found that some of the people I have felt the most drawn to and formed great relationships with were with those with Aries and Aquarius Suns.

Miss Muffet, THAT is why I didn't marry an Aries - they are too bossy, and if I had to deal with them at home I would have to put my head through the wall.
All that being said - I adore my Aries friends, coworkers, bosses and a mom

Hehe, moonshine... I second that thought on Pisces men. They seem too 'adaptable' for my taste, no spine! Just the ones I've run across...not including my little bro who is Pisces sun with Virgo moon, Sag rising, and 1st house Jupiter in Sag...he's a bit more macho than the typical, especially with Leo mars thrown in too. I suspect he'll he a bit of a player as he grows up, as he's already got a bit of a charmed following wherever he goes at 9 1/2.... eek.

Hi Yin,

All kidding aside, it is really not all that bad... I don't think I am a very demanding person. And most of the things I ask for are really very reasonable and logical. This comes from my Moon being in Taurus with Scorpio Ascendant (I am not sure if the Scorpio part made it worse or better ).

Everyday, I give and give, I never complain. But when I want something, I also expect my partner NOT to complain... Equal giving and sharing. He can beat his chest like Tarzan most of the time but when my need arises, I expect to be treated like a queen also. I think that is completely fair.

It's funny, as I noticed in the responses.. the women said they didn't like their opposite.. Virgo/Pisces... Aries/Libra... but I'll bet if it was the opposite to that.. an Aries man with a Libra woman, a Virgo Man with a PIsces woman, they'd have different stories completely..
as was said before, a strong Aries woman needs someone to lead the pack right along with her, or motivate her.... she is strong, and doesn't want someone to np at her heels.. she needs a MAN. Honest charm. Not flattery charm, or pretense.

Leo and Sag.....well....I can say yes, it happened sort of that way, but it took a lot longer than a day to get me in bed...

He, the Leo, was a charmer. In the end it didn't work out, but we are still friends.

Now I am with a Taurus - seems that he can keep this Sag in line and does spoil me. Then again, he has a first house Sun - very much like a Leo, as well as a 5th house moon (in Leo's home).

Yeah pixelpixie!!!!

I NEED A MAN, not a whimp! That is completely right on. If I have to be "the man" in the relationship, I might as well be alone.

Sag men seem insincere to me, or too much the player.

I think it's better if the woman is the Sag, and the man the Leo.

Leo sun is kind of a hard placement for a woman, simular to Aries in alot of ways.

i'm virgo and i loved my ex sag boyfriend. we got along very well and were very intimate with one another. we were better friends however.

after three years i tired of his bad manners though. once in the parking lot of home depot, he spat a piece of gum onto the street

being the concious person i am, i insisted he go back and pick it up. he didn't of course *i did*. his defense was "people are paid to scrape gum off the sidewalk, i'm keeping people in work". ugggg.

Geesh, it is really annoying....all of you who can't appreciate the Pisces man (a serious personality shortcoming in my eyes), just send them over to me. I'll appreciate 'em.

I love Pisces men in general because I genuinely believe that everyone has inherent beauty within them, and I genuinely long to see that in everyone. For me, it's easiest to see that in Pisces men. The way I see it, the other signs make it hard for me tot he seen that in them. Don't get me wrong - I try my d^mnest, but there aren't many who are working with me on this.

As for needing a "man" or "real man" - whenever I hear that from another woman, I assume the woman is looking for someone to compensate for their own weakness without a fair exchange. Yeah, that's harsh, but that's the honest truth. If it's a honest revelation, I can respect that, like "Hey, I know my limitations and I need someone in my life who can help me with this." I see nothing wrong with wanting a helpmate, as long as it's equal footing. But the passive-aggressive "You have to live up to my needs and expectations before I'll accept you" attitude - I really hate that, personally, because it begins with the expectation of inferiority and that the man's genuine self takes a backseat to the woman's demands. It plays into the biggest social stereotypes going around about both men and women. People cling so insistantly to their ideals of what other people should be like, and then wonder why their relationships fail. EVERY relationship I've been in has failed because the guy clung to a stereotype of women that he expected me to live up too - and I see women do it do men all the time too, I absolute loathe it and it would be utter hypocrisy for me to afflict that upon men.

I don't except a man to be a "man" - just himself. I think it's more important for a guy to just be genuine and true to himself than to live up to other people's expectation of what a man should be.

I'm done bitching now...and oh yeah, I love Pisces men and feel very sad for those you who don't. You really don't know what you're missing.
