BR,

Well... it takes some nerve to come in here and point fingers at others about not making Astrology-based posts, while you yourself are only commenting on your personal problems with Geminis

When we point a finger at someone else, we should remember we always have three pointing back at ourself.

It could be that some people make personal conversations in this forum because they have personalities worth sharing.

GN,

The Mods in this forum would be stepping on the toes of Free Speech if they didn't allow BR to make his/her narrow minded comments. Those with narrow minds have rights too.

LibraSparkle,
I'm apalled, i would expect a venus child to keep the peace around here not fan the flames.

Is it narrow-mindedness or is it simply provocation?

It's annoyance My mind is not narrow. I'm not speaking of all Saggies... I'm speaking of you.

As far as being appalled... now you know how you've made the Geminis feel. Your post was absolutely appalling. Not to mention rude and uncalled for.

I'm sorry you find the truth appalling. But, the truth is, your post was very narrow minded. The truth is that you came in here blasting others for talking about personal problems while you yourself were doing EXACTLY that.

Doesn't it seem like everywhere you look, someone is saying Gemini's are young-at-heart?

There are geminis that I would love to get romantic with in a perfect world. But since that's never going to happen, I have respect for them as friends. Geminis require maintainance.

Geminis are fantastic in bed, very sweet with Cancer and Taurus influences. I just would prefer to have one in heaven, with no risks than down here. But I can dream.

Geminis are the eternal child, entertaining and providing a beautiful world for others, its' wrong to ask too much but to enjoy what the create. I do not confront Geminis with much these days, as I do not have faith in their answers. But physically they do a lot for the community, the environment, in their marriages, and with their children. On a person to person basis, they do not excel.

Geminis are better with groups and are notoriously shy people. They are doers not as talkative as people think, they really prefer to be doing something. For every Gemini playboy, there is a Gemini knitting or quilting, or gardening.

Its a very versatile sign, being mutable AND air.
Geminis can be everything or nothing.
Jean Paul Sartre, was a Gemini, his philosophy was about mutability:

"Man is not the sum of what he has but the totality of what he does not yet have, of what he might have."

"According to Sartre, the human being is terrifying free, and responsible for the choices he makes. In a godless universe life has no meaning or purpose beyond the goals that each man sets for himself. In Being and Nothingness Sartre argued that an individual must detach oneself from things to give them meaning."

I liked your post sthenri!

Yes-Geminis are fun, intelligent, quick, mutable in many ways....definitely hard to tie down...

It is my great wish that everyone has the positive experience of a Gemini who touches their life...we try our best to add brightness and laughter within a room and to all of the lives we touch...we would never want you to be bored!! (Or really bore ourselves! ha,ha...).

Being a Gemini is never dull...I am thankful for that fact alone!! Geminis-YOU ROCK!!

The most disloyal, abusive, lying boyfriend I ever had was a Sag... not a Gemini.

He hit me, he cheated on me, and he was incapable of being honest.

WOW.......now there is a bucketful of assumptions and stereotypes.

I dated a Gemini, once upon a time.....he cheated on me, asked me to marry him but did it just so I wouldnt move out, got me pregnant, and pushed me down a flight of stairs (after he broke up with me) so I would lose it (and yes, i did).

My brother is a Gemini...he is charming, fun, intelligent, and kind hearted.. in a flighty kind of way. He is a good guy. So are alot of Gems i have met.

EVERY sign can be good or bad...and every person can be good or bad......but to make these kind of "blanket statements" is more of a reflection of you than a truth about Geminis.

BR - you are a vicious and arrogant person.

Concise enough for you? Would be adding hypocritical to the list be too much...even though there's evidence of that as well?

Besides, anyone who whines about my lack of conciseness (I perferred to call it "thoroughness") indicates to me someone who's intellectually challenged. "Too many notes for the Emperor's ears." T*t for tat.

>>"Please don't take my comments too seriously, but also please don't suggest that I be sequestered, everyone is entitled to an opinion. Sometimes comments other than "i love this or that," are necessary, and doesn't fighting for your worth make you feel stronger?"

"Fighting" for my worth??? What kind of Nazi logic is that??? NO ONE should have to defend their worth - human dignity is inherent and should be respected regardless of personal opinion. "Humor" can be vicious, cruel and hence, NOT funny - and that you don't know the difference indicates to me your immaturity and/or lack of intelligence (or perhaps you don't care, and that would indicate a very impoverished soul).

And why shouldn't I take you comments seriously? You overstepped that line of making good-hearted jest to flat-out bashing by miles. Do NOT patronize me. I understand your intent very well, as it was clear beyond question. And that you're denying it and trying to weasel out of accountability for your own words is hypocritical and lives up to all the things you said about Gems. Not surprising seeing that Sags are a dual-bodied sign too, and just as capable of lying and treachery as any Gem (and just about every Sag I've personally known has been hypocritical, treacherous liars who'd be friendly to your face and then screw you over the minute you left the room...that is, the ones that weren't simply dumb).

You really don't have a legit reason for a superiority trip (and yet you still think you do). For every Jeffery Dahmer in the world, there's a Ted Bundy. At least Dahmer acknowledged his actions and apologized for his crimes.

And I don't want you censored - just put in your place. You're being disrespectful and hateful without bringing anything insightful to the forum, and you refuse to be accountable or to apologize for it (again, how hypocritical of you). I don't think those things should be tolerated here - that's all. Despite your bigoted beliefs about us Gems, we more often than not have a very strong sense of justice that transcends personalities and social formality, just like the other air signs.

LibraSparkle - I appreciate your veiwpoint but my take is this: there's a free speech and then there's hate speech. Anything that is good and beautiful should be defended and protected because it can be abused by unethical people and turned into something hurtful. That is obviously BR's intention here, regardless of his claims conveniently after the point. That is why I think the mods should have stepped in - not so much censored BR but had some limitations reinforced, as what is stated in the intro to this site: "There will be no censorship here, and freedom of expression and speech rules surpreme, but please be courteous and respectful of others while doing so. Linda had a talent for speaking her Mind without offending others. Let's try to do likewise."

At any rate, I have spoken my thoughts on this regrettable matter. I don't wish to pursue this any further, as I doubt it'll be fruitful. There's only so much energy I have for fools, especially when there are much more intelligent and gracious people around here to converse with.

Are you sure there isn't some gemini in YOUR chart, BR? Sure seem to be the kind of "gemini-type person" that can't stick to his opinion, is flighty, asks questions that he knows the answer to, and says nasty things just to get a rise out of someone.

Geminis are so much more than you will ever know. Why is that? (Oh, goodie, I know the answer to that question!) Because you are incapable of UNDERSTANDING them. They move at speeds that you cannot see, think things you are unable to wrap your brain around and have *gasp* a great sense of humour, that you are not able to grasp.

I, for one, would never change my sign. And secretly I believe it is a kind of "Penis Envy" (sorry Freud)--you WISH you were a Gemini!

I would like to point out that I have been married 9 years and have not been unfaithful (not even in thought!) I don't have my Günter Sachs Statistical Astrology book at hand, but I KNOW that geminis are not the most violent sign. I think (can't remember exactly) that that was taken up by pisces or libra!!!

Geminis were, OTOH, most likely to get divorced. Although, if my husband were like you, I sure would be adding to that statistic.

When I get home tonight, I would love to give you some stats about YOUR sign...do tell...what is it? (Sheesh, here's me asking a question I DON'T know the answer to...what is the world coming to??)

Love,
highly strung, disloyal, inconscise and just plain obnoxious Nackie

I still love Geminis. I'd let one in particular break my heart all over again...cause he's a roller coaster ride with no brakes and I love the thrill of it all.

BR, you are entitled to your opinion, and you are entitled to post it, but your opinion speaks more volumes about yourself than it does about Geminis.

3.Geminis don't know how to be concise. Just look at GeminiNymph's posts.

Why the personal attack?
BlueRoamer. We had issues a long while ago. I believe it was on SoulUnions? I am not sure, but you had made a joking list of the faults of all the Sunsigns. When I responded ( with humour) to your post, you attacked further. Get any strongly opinionated women together in one room and watch the teeth bared.
Is this fun for you? Stirring up the pot?
I find it funny that you say somethng strongly, with conviction, then back out.
I wonder if you could list things you like about Geminis, instead of negatives... Or flip your *narrowminded* observations to see the good in them.....
Even GeminiNymph can say good things about the signs she has 'issues' with. *Usually after offending a few, with her convictions. But at least she defends after she offends. I appreciate that.
It would be fun to unearth that old post....

Hi Nackie!

I'm doing great. I got back from a trip to NYC on Sunday night.

I like people with Gemini Sun. Every single one I've met is witty, funny, and makes me blink twice! Just have to be careful about what I say if I don't want it repeated around the block

How are you? How's life in Germany?
