NYC was awesome! I got to eat the best steak au poivre and chocolate mousse at a French Bistro. It was heavenly Central Park at this time of year is enchanting. All the leaves change colors as children are playing and tossing up heaps of foilage. The weather was brisk and cold. There was rain all through the first day and then bright sunshine after that for the rest of the trip.

i know some here (i just saw the one post, anyway) have stressed the negative qualities of gemini. i think one of the things said was something about them being liars - it's important to remember all signs have negative qualities. a lot of *other* signs are pegged as liars, too - like pisces. sometimes libra - who're often said to be vacillators. everyone has beauty to them, and to focus on the negative and generalize one sign in particular is narrow-minded. jesus, it's just a sun sign. or a moon sign. or an ascendant. or a WHATEVER. we're made up of TONS of aspects and sign placements and house placements and points and midpoints and arabic parts and asteroids and aspect configurations and who knows what else.

of course, everyone's entitled to their own opinion.

this coming from a moon and mars in the 3rd house, who is proud of her gemini qualities.

One is spending 2 years in Uganda doing volunteer work - she has a strong desire to help people and do something good - and the other two are a couple. They have been together for years and years and are completely devoted and faithful. In fact, they have the sort of relationship I would love to have.

I had a very close friend who was a Gemini I haven't spoken with in several years. We got along so great for so long, but... I attribute this to her Venus and Jupiter in Cancer, Mars in Leo... she got really weird and possessive of my friendship, and then competitive with me... to an extreme degree... So that we couldn't be friends anymore. But at her best, we laughed together and had a the greatest of times. I just wish she didn't get all weird on me, and honestly... that cannot be attributed to her Gemini sun. Her Gemini sun made her flighty and airy and all over the place just like meeee! Hahaha. I like those qualities

One of my very best friends is a Scorpio with her moon in Aqua and Gemini rising. I have to say all the qualities I love best about her come from her Gemini rising. She's talkative and exuberant and funny and smart. Her dark side (but also her passionate nature) come from her Scorp sun... and I have to say her worst qualities come from her Aqua moon... Her Gemini influence is the greatest!

BlueRoamer... the things you said to trash Geminis is not only myopic and small-minded of you, it's ignorant because the laundry list of things you accuse them of... most can be attributed to other signs as far as "who is most capable of X behaviour"... Not to mention, your own sign of Saggitarius is guilty of an awful lot of them.

for example i've meet some bitchy aquarian but at the same time meet some awesome aquarian also.

Same thing with scorpio's i've meet a good one and a nasty one.

I don't think Geminis are bad drivers,
Scorpios I know and some Libras are bad drivers, but Geminis? bad drivers??

What were his other placements?

Today I love Geminis, they get that funny look on their faces when they are thinking,
like little monkeys.

A Gemini will hug you and while he is hugging you, whisper in your ear that he's dating someone new. He doesn't want to make you mad.

Geminis have to know EVERYTHING, about Everyone. that is they have no boundaries, they know where their therapist eats dinner. They know everyone's family. They are family. Geminis like mystery, don't tell them where you live, and watch them follow you home. Then they get bored. The ones with Taurus in their charts, have oral fixations which can be good.

Geminis are the most oral sign other than Taurus. Good kissers-that's their best quality.
